Leaves Are Falling All Around!
Fingerplays
Take youngsters on an outdoor leaf hunt. Or have them hunt for construction-paper leaves hidden around your classroom. Follow up your leaf hunt with this fingerplay that teaches the sign-language symbols for red, yellow, orange, and brown.
Leaves are falling all around---
Red,
Yellow,
Orange,
And brown.
Twirling, swirling to the ground---
Look how many leaves I've found!
