Sung to the tune of, "Where is Thumbkin."




(Begin by placing hands behind back and making fists.)
Where is gray squirrel?
(Bring one clenched fist out from behind back and hold in front of body.)

Where is gray squirrel?
(Wiggle thumb.)

Here I am!
(Bring second clenched fist out from behind back and hold in front of body.)

Here I am!
(Wiggle thumb on second had as if speaking to the thumb on the first hand.)

How are you today, Squirrel?
(Wiggle thumb on first hand as if addressing the second thumb.)

How are you today. Squirrel?
(Wiggle thumb on second had as if responding to the thumb on the first hand.)

Busy, busy, busy!
(Roll the fists around.)

Busy, busy, busy!
(Roll the fists around.)

(Place hands behind back and make fists.)

Where are your acorns?
(Bring one clenched fist out from behind back and hold in front of body.)

(Wiggle thumb.)

Here they are!
(Bring the second hand out from back and wiggle four fingers.)

(Wiggle fingers.)
