This page is going to be dedicated to my experiences feeding BARF, which I hope to start when I get off school for holidays, and if I get a food processor for Christmas like I asked! :) I hope to set up a BARF information page once I get more experience with it!
Well, I didn't get one for Christmas, but I got one yesterday (Dec. 31)!!!! I'm sooooo happy, now all I need is a source of rmb's!

I just gave Daisy her first taste of BARF this morning, I was worried she'd throw it up but it seems to be staying down! She didn't seem to like that much, kinda like "what the hell is this?!?!?!" LOL The food I gave her was "veggie mix". The vegetables I used were celery, carrots, romane lettuce, and cucumber and I used raw moose hamburger. It's really easy to make, all you need is a food processor or juicer. Just mush it all up.

Well, Daisy yammied a little bit of it up, but I'm not worried. My mom was really mad, maybe the fact that she stepped in it has something to do with it! LOLOLOL!!!!
Later that night we gave her the skin off some smoked salmon and some of the meat. It didn't make her sick at all, like my non-believer mom thought it would. Today she got kibble =|
I'm thinking of getting a job to support Daisys BARF, but probably not. Well, maybe this summer, I just have no time when I'm in school. Well, that's all for now.

Today my mom and I were digging around in the freezer, she was looking for moose roast, I was just there. Anyway almost everything she grabed was labeled "soup bone" and she was like "arrrgh, what am I going to do with all these soup bones, I should just throw them out!" Of course I was like NOOOOOO!!!!! I'll make good use of them! (ie. feed them to Daisy) Then she pulled out a package label "Dog Bone" and says "here". I was like cool. So, I'm thawing it out right now, I'll give it to Daisy tomorrow afternoon. I'll let you know how it goes!

I just brought Daisy in from an *hour* of chewing on that "dog bone"!!!! The bone turned out to be a hip bone. I gave it to her first at about 4 o'clock, she ate most of the meat off it, and now it's pretty bare. I'm very pleased that Daisy has taken to this "almost BARF diet" so well!
