Chapter Nine
A Few Days Later
Rose walked into Cal's room.
"I am glad you are doing better."
"Rose, I am truly sorry for
the way I treated you. I can't believed I let my father brainwash me."
"Cal, why the sudden
change?"
"While I was unconscious, my
birth mother took me on a trip of my life. I saw that my father killed
her."
"Cal, are you sure you were
not hallucinating?"
"Yes," Cal said, as
tears came to his eyes.
Rose gave Cal a comforting hug.

Lucy Hockley was having dinner on
the porch alone because Nathan was getting ready to go on a business trip.
"Lucy," he said,
walking out onto the porch.
"Yes, dear?" she asked,
standing up.
"Get ready."
"What for?"
"I just bought a sixty room
mansion in London."
"What?"
"We are moving there."
"That is great!" Lucy
smiled.
"Hurry and pack. We need to
be at the dock in less than two hours."
Lucy went up to pack. Little did
she know, she was about to find out the truth about Cal's father.
