ALWAYS AND FOREVER
Chapter Twelve

May 15, 1912

It had been one month since Titanic sank.

Jack and Rose were at Oscar and Mina's house.

They decided to tell them about Titanic.

Jack and Rose told them the same thing that they had told Liz and Brian.

Mina was in tears at the end of their story and Oscar just sat there, shock written all over his face, pure shock.

"I can't believe it! Jack, you were on the Titanic," Oscar said, quite skeptically.

"Yeah, well, I was. I thank God every day that I was. Because if I wasn't, neither Rose nor I would be here today." Jack looked at Rose and gave her an amazing smile. Whenever he looked at her like that she felt faint. That was why he did it.

"Why don't you two come over to our house later this week? We can talk and enjoy one another's company," Rose said.

"Yeah, I'm sure we can. We'll see," said Mina.

"Well, we'd better be going now. We have to take Cora to the park," Jack said.

"All right. Bye, then!" Oscar said.

"Bye!" said Jack and Rose, in unison.

They went to Jack's parents' house and got Cora, and they were now at the park.

Jack was pushing Cora on a swing and Rose was sitting in the swing next to them.

"Whoa! Jack, stop! Ha ha ha!" Cora screamed.

"All right, then."

Cora was still swinging, and Jack sat by Rose on the other swing.

Jack and Rose were holding hands, and Rose was watching Cora.

Jack didn't notice any of his surroundings, or anything except for Rose. He was staring at her in secret, until she noticed him staring.

"What?" she asked.

"God, you're beautiful," he said.

"Oh, Jack, stop it. With that charming way of yours, I wouldn't be surprised if you charmed the birds out of the trees," she said.

"Rose...I love you."

"I love you, too, Jack."

They kissed passionately.

When their lips parted, they noticed Cora was gone.
