The 2nd Digidestines:

The First Battle

"Does anybody know where we're actually going? My feet are ti-red!"

Tiki pouted.

"Live with it dweeb!" Chris spat.

"Go eat your underwear!" Tiki stuck out her tongue.

"I'd like to, but I'm not wearing any!"

"Ewwwww! You sicko! I can't beleive you're actually my brother!"

Tiki clapped her hands over her mouth.

"I can't beleive how many hours you spend in front of the mirror doing

your hair!"

"Oh shut up!"

"Oh gasp, I'm scared for life! What an insult!"

"Why don't you-!"

"Why don't both of you SHUT UP RIGHT NOW!!" Liz turned to both of

them, fuming. "You're worse than me and Daisu! Now cut it OUT!"

"Sorry!" They both squeeked.

"Hey everyone! Daisu, Liz, Yamo!" Everyone turned to see their

cousins running torward them.

"Wix!" Daisu laughed.

"Mika!" Yamo ran torward his sister.

"Gatomon, Gabumon!" Agumon said.

"Dudes! Where were you guys?" Liz hugged Mika.

"Looking for you! Where were you?" Wix said.

"Ditto!"

"What?" Daisu said.

"'Ditto' means repeat, dummy. I mean that we were looking for them,

too." Liz rolled her eyes.

"No not that I already know that! It's just that the sky is... aw ne'r

mind." Daisu shrugged.

"Hey, who's th' new kid?" Wix noticed Akira.

"My name is Akira! I guess I came in the place of Prof. Izumi!" Akira

put a hand to his chest.

"Cool! Nice t'meetchya!" Wix shook his hand.

"Nice hairdo." Akira grinned.

"Nicer than Daisu's."

"Hey!" Daisu said after a minute.

"Duu-uh!" Liz sighed.

"Oh shut your trap!"

"Jerk."

"Expadillious neandrathal!"

"What?"

"Nothing! Hey everyone, let's set up a camp and catch some food!" Liz

suggested.

"Good idea!" Yamo hugged her around her leg.

"Oh get off!" Liz shook him.

"Whatever!" He let go, and everyone laughed.

Camp is set up near a lake.....

"Mmmm... this fish is good!" Daisu ate.

"Better than th' stuff we have at home!" Wix grinned, who sat next to

Daisu.

"Cor-rect!" Mika giggled.

"I hope this doesn't give me a stomach-ache... " Tiki mumbled to

herself, then bit in.

"I hope YOU don't give me a stomach-ache... " Chris said.

"Oh shut up!" She said sharply.

"Daisu, do you think that my mom would opprove of me eating something

that came from another world?" Yamo asked.

"Hey, I'm sure she ate it!" He said.

"Oh, ok!"

"BUUUUUUURRPP!"

"Ewww!! Daisu!" everyone yelled.

"Uh, sorry?!" He grinned.

"Hee hee!"

"What's so funny Agumon?" Daisu frowned.

"You remind me of your dad! But he wasn't so gross!" Agumon tumbled

over laughing.

"Oh shut up... " Daisu mumbled.

"In fact you all look so much like your parents it's unbeleivable!"

Biyomon smiled.

"So we've been told!" Mika said.

"Mm-hmm!" Yamo said with a mouth full of fish.

"Do you remember how much Matt and Tai used to fight? It's a good

thing that they don't anymore! I mean, at least I think they don't... "

Agumon said to Gabumon.

"Yes, they sure got into some bad battles!" Gabumon said.

"Real nasty cat-fights!" Gatomon said.

"Mmm-hm!" Agumon agreed.

"Do you remember the time when we all got seperated by Devimon and when

Matt and Tai fought in all that snow? It was horrible!" Gabumon said.

"That was nothing! What about after when T.K. came back from

Puppetmon, and Matt ran away, and then he came back and challenged Tai.

That was the worst of the worst!" Agumon looked down on the ground.

"You mean.... our dads? Mine and Wix's?" Daisu said in disbeleif.

"Yup!" Gabumon and Agumon said at the same time.

"Well, they still do argue alot, Uncle Tai and Dad do." Wix sighed.

"Yessiree!" Yamo giggled.

"Doesn't that kid ever stop laughing?" Chris raised an eyebrow at

Yamo, who went up into fits of laughter.

"Nope." Mika said.

"Sheez!" Chris rolled his eyes.

"Yaaawwn!" Daisu yawned and rubbed his eyes. "Hey all, I'm gonna go

t' bed, g'night." and he laid down on the ground and closed his eyes.

"I'm following his lead!" Liz yawned. "Tomorrow morning we can set

out for that 'Swarthimon' dude."

"Yeah, g'night ev'ryone! Don't let the digi-bugs bite... " Yamo

yawned and laid down on the ground.

"G'night little brother." Mika cuddled up to him.

"Have lots of nightmeres Chris... " Tiki closed her eyes.

"Go dip your head." He replied sleepily, and cuddled up to Gomamon.

"Night Gabumon." Wix said to him.

"Good night Wix." he replied.

"Have a good sleep everyone." Patamon said.

"You too Patamon!" Said Agumon.

"You're awfully quiet Akira." Daisu said.

"That's because he's asleep, dummy." Liz said.

"Oh."

In the middle of the night.....

Liz opened an eye, and then the other. <What is that?> she thought,

looking around, and sat up. <I'll go check it out.> She walked into the

forest, looking for the shadow she had seen earlier. <Oh my god....> she

saw a dark flash of mist and light, stinging her eyes. She looked up- a

crimson window in the middle of the sky, and a figure behind it... she

backed off in fear, and- <No! Help!> A strong arm grabbed her, reaching

out of the crimson porthole, and.... darkness stung her arm....

"Liii-iiz! Where are you Liz? LIZ!! I'm sorry if I called you a dimbo

yesterday!" Daisu yelled out. They had all woken up, without Liz there,

and waited an hour, then started searching for her. Daisu sighed, bit his

lip- to keep from crying. As much as they made fun of each other and called

names, they were truly close, and showed their brotherly/sisterly love for

each other very oftne.

"It's ok Daisu! I'm sure she's bound to show up sooner or later!" Said

Agumon, putting his hand/paw on his shoulder.

"Yeah, thanks Agu. But maybe you should be reasuring Biyomon instead of

me, she looks awfully worried." He pointed to a lonely looking pink bird,

looking at the ground.

"Sure Daisu!" and he ran over to Biyomon.

<Where the heck didja go Liz? You wouldn't desert us like this! And...

oh my gosh- she was!> "Everyone, I know what happend to her she was

captured by Swarthimon! I KNOW it! That stupid d*** son of a- !"

"Daisu! NOT in front of Yamo and Mika!" Wix clapped his hand over his

cousins mouth.

"Y-yeah... s-sorry." tears started to swell in Daisu's eyes, and turned

away, biting his lip. The tears finally just dribbled slowly down his

cheecks, staining.

"Oh Daisu... I'm sorry. I know how close you two are in reality.

We'll get her back, don't worry!" Wix put his arm around his cousin.

"Th-thanks cuz." Daisu let the tears fall. "Let's go find her now."

"Wait a minute! This is Liz's digivice!" Akira picked up something on

the ground. "We can use it to track her with my laptop, I'm sure of it!"

He took his laptop off of his back, sat on the ground, and put it on his

lap. "Ok, all I have to do is set it right here- " he put it in a

rectangle gap on the very top right corner of the keyboard. "And it'll

track her down... Yes! See, on the screen is a map of where she's being

held. Probably at Swarthimon's castle, no doubt." He looked up at Daisu.

"Then let's get goin'!"

"RIGHT!" Everyone yelled.

"Pack up then, and move your toushys!" Daisu said. Wix rolled his

eyes.

"All right, we're on the right track... we should go this way, south

east... and keep on going this way until we reach the castle!" Akira said,

his laptop in his hands, as they walked.

They walked for hours, four or five at the most, counting Tiki having to

stop every five minutes either getting into an argument or fight with Chris

or having to rest her 'poor' feet. Finally though... darkness and light.

"That place, without a doubt, has got to be the creepiest place I have

ever seen in my life!" Akira looked at the castle. It was completely

black, the stones blacker than a raven's feathers, or even charcoal. It had

a black flag up on everytower with a knife sewn on it with red blood

staining it. There were ghastly, ugly guards everywhere, who looked like

ghosts, but only red, with ugly gray arms and blood red eyes.

"Oh my gosh... " Chris stared.

"That's ok! I've seen creepier in horror movies that I've seen!" Yamo

pointed to himself, smiling.

"Who showed YOU horror movies!?" Wix asked.

"Uncle Tai."

"Figures... "

"C'mon, let's ambush them!" Daisu said.

"What about sneaking in?" Akira asked.

"I don't know! I never liked sneaky thingys anyway y'know. Let's just

surprise attack them!"

"Ok!" everyone said.

"Gabumon- warp digivolve to... Metalgarurumon!"

"Agumon- warp digivolve to... Wargreymon!"

"Patamon- digivolve to... Angemon! Angemon- digivole to...

Magnaangemon."

"Gatmon- digivolve to... Angewomon!"

"Let's just have one more so we can save some more energy, ok?" Daisu

said.

"I'll do it!" Said Palmon.

"Palmon- digivole to... Togemon! Togemon- digivolve to... Lilymon!"

"Oh wow... she's really pretty!" Said Tiki when she saw Lilymon.

"Thanks!" said Lilymon.

"All right, attack!" Daisu said, and they rushed down on the castle.

"Flower... Canon!"

"Terra Force!"

"Ice Wolf Claw!"

"Gate of Destiny." Magnaangemon threw the guards in his gate, and they

disolved.

"All right through here!" Akira said, as they ran into an open gate,

tracking Liz down with their digivices. "This way! Through here! Go down!

And- Ahhh!" Akira stopped, because someone stood right in front on

them... and it was Swarthimon. He looked like a very tall man, with blond,

wavy hair, and a gray mask covering his mouth and nose. He had a long, gray

cape over his back, and he had a black breastplate armor peice covering his

chest. He wore gray pants, and gray boots which came up to his knee joints.

His eyes, though, were the most terrifying thing about him. The whites

were actually a smouldery gray, and dark red slits in the middle of them.

His hands had black gloves on them which reached up to his elbow joints, and

they were clenched with hatetread.

"You... are the digidestined." He started at them with his terrifying

eyes. His voice was cold... too hard to describe. It sounded like...

Magnaangemon's voice. Only it wasn't as friendly or reassuring and it was

cold and hard and choking.

"You are stupid to try to rescue your friend. She is- my slave now.

She always will be now. Unless one of you trade yourself for her, I will

give you her back. There is... no reason to fight. You should make

negotiations in steed of it."

"NEGOTIATIONS?!?" Daisu roared, cleching his teeth, pushing his way up

front of of the group. "YOU HAVE MY SISTER! AND I WANT HER BACK, NOW!!"

His voice rang through the hallway. Swarthimon looked at the boy. How

stupid of his to defy me. A child. He reached forward, and clasped his

long, clawed hand around Daisu's throat, and lifted him off the ground.

"Daisu!" Wix yelled in horror.

"YOU WILL NOT YELL AT MEE! I AM KING HERE, IN THIS WORLD! DON'T EVER

DEFY ME!" His eyes blazed, and he threw Daisu against the wall.

"Now, you will be... extirminated!!" And Swarthimon laughed, cold, hard,

and it rang off against and around the whole palace...

"Noo! Daisu! YOu listen up! That's my cousin you have hurt, and I'm

gonna hurt YOU for it! Magnaangemon!" Yamo yelled in tears. And

Magnaangemon struck forward with his purple glowing sword, and attacked.

But Swarthimon struck forward with a black glowing sword, which came out of

nowhere. The swords clashed sending out sparks. Magnaangemon tossed aside

the blows that were hit on him with his strong shield, but unfortunately

Swarthimon had a shield too. They fought long and hard, clashing and

defending, attacking. But Magnaangemon's power was running out, and he

finally fell, and dedigivolved into Patamon.

"Patamon!" Yamo cried.

"Your attacks are useless... you are nothing, children. If you want

your precious girl back, you may have her." Swarthimon sheathed his sword.

"What?" Wix cried.

"Don't!" Gasped Daisu. "H-he's t-tricking you... " he gasped for air

and clutched at himself. "Don't... I'm-gonna-go-in-place... of Liz! I'll

switch for her... please Sw-swarthi... "

"No Daisu! I'll go in place! Please Swarthimon, take me instead! I

beg of you! I'll be your slave... " Wix shook his head and kneeld before

Swarthimon, pleading.

"Fine... " and he went off, and came back with Liz, of whom he dropped

on the floor. "Begone from my palace... BEGONE!" His roar shook the whole

palace. Angewomon picked up Liz, and they all ran from the ghastly place.

"N-noo! W-wix... !" Daisu cried for his cousin, who of he could see

tears swelling up in his eyes, and Swarthimon laughed, picked the boy up,

and walked away.

"We have to go, Daisu! We have to leave Wix! We'll get him later!

Come on!" Chris grabbed Daisu, and dragged him off...

"Oh my god... just look at her." Akira said to Tiki. Liz was stained

in blood, hair to toe. From her mouth was dripping watery bloody venom.

Her arms and legs were limp; her right leg was... partly shreded. She was

shivering all over, and her eyes were all red. "How could it have hapened?

She was only gone a night and a morning... it's horrible. Palmon, do you

think you could get some healing herbs for her? PLease?"

"Anything! Be back in a minute or two!" and she ran off into the

forest, with Tiki running after her.

Akira sighed. He'd never seen anyone so... sickly, or even deathly

looking. He looked over at Daisu, who was sitting down with his back to a

tree, sobbing gushing tears, and Mika and Yamo were trying to sooth and

reassure him.

"A-akira... ?" Liz tured her head slightly, and looked at the boy.

"Liz! You're awake... what did they do to you?" He asked.

"T-they... gave me a red pill. It took all my energy out, and it fed me

venom." tears spilled out. "They beat me and shredded m'leg. W-where's

D-d-daisu?"

"Daisu! She's awake!" Akira called to him.

Immediatly he stopped crying and flashed over to Liz' side.

"Are you ok Liz? What did they DO to you?"

"T-they... " but she broke down into tears, and slapped her hand over

her mouth, indecating she was about to puke. Akira sat her up, and let her

throw up on the ground. Mostly blood came out, and over peices of black and

white food.

"They fed her some kind of a pill that drained her energy and gave her

venom. I'm sure it's not deadly venom, but very sickening. They beat her

and shreded her leg." Akira winced, lying Liz back down on the ground.

"We're hee-ere!" They saw Tiki and Palmon running over. Tiki had a

wooden cup with a green juice in it, and they had her drink it.

"C'mon, let's leave her to rest a bit." Akira took away Daisu.

A minute or two later Chris came over to Liz and played her a song on

his guitar- which had accidentaly been brought into the world.

"Bumblbee, Bumblbee,

Fly among the floow-ers.

Bumblbees, Bumblbees,

Are what we call poool-linators.

BUMblbee, Bumblbee,

Fuzzy black and yee-low.

Bumblbees, Bumblbees,

Work so hard, my fellows!

Bumblbee, Bumblbee...

ZzzzzzzzzZZZZzzzZzzzz"

Chris sang, and made Liz smile. He played a couple other songs, which

made her fall asleep.

<I'll get you Wix, get you out of that place. Even if I have to kill

myself... > Daisu thought, looking into the night sky.
