Destruction of the World -Part 3

Shi pulled out a gun that was made of wood and was curved. He pointed

it at Matt. "Who is your leader of the digi-destains?" Shi demanded.

"I'll never tell you! You'll have to kill me first!" Matt screamed with

hatred. Shi smiled an evil smile and pointed the gun at Kari, who was

tied in a chair a few feet away from Matt. "Hey leave her alone! She

didn't do anything!" Matt yelled. "Tell me who your leader is and you'll

save your friend!" Shi demanded. He put his finger to the trigger.

I don't want to lose another friend. But if I tell him who the leader

is he'll probably try to kill Tai. Tai's counting on me. I counted on

him though, the night of the massacre. He was so scared and he had the

crest of courage. He deserves to die!

Matt thought and said, "The leader is Taichi." "Well, thank you,"

Shi said" but now I have to kill you." Shi pointed the gun at Matt and

fired.

The bullet hit Matt's heart. His soul was getting sucked out of him and

being replaced with evil. His eyes turned red. He began to drool. His

veins were popping up at the skin. He wasn't the kind Matt anymore. He

was the evil Matt. He burst out of the ropes. Matt walked over to Shi

and asked, "What shall I do for you, master." Shi smiled and said, "Go

kill Taichi."

"As you wish, my Lord." Matt replied and ran out the door.

Tai was walking on the sidewalk in the downtown area. He was going home

to his apartment. It was late at night and he was cold. Tai was looking

at his crest of courage thinking of why he could have had another crest

like the crest of afraid ness. He shut his eyes thinking what had

happened on the night of the massacre. (A/N: we're going back in time!

Weeeeeeeee!)

A crazy man had killed a lot of people. He also had kidnapped people and

was hiding out in an old warehouse. The man had a bome and was ready to

disarm it. Tai, Matt and T.K. were in the warehouse but they weren't

held as hostages. They were trying to free all the people. The man

threatened to disarm the bome if the police came in. Matt and T.K.'s

parents were some of the hostages. Tai had a gun. He could have shot the

man. The man didn't know Tai had a gun. Tai was about to shot him but

something held him back. What if he missed and shot an innocent person.

The man saw Tai and disarmed the bome. Matt and T.K. ran out of the

building while Tai just stood there. He was blown out the window nearby

and landed in a river. The last thing Tai heard in there was the evil

laugh of the man and the innocent cries of the people. Tai was in the

hospital for three days. When he got out of the hospital and meet Matt,

Matt punched Tai in the cheek. "Why didn't you shot him Tai!? My parents

died because of you!" Matt screamed.

Tai explained that he was too scared to shot. "Oh, O.K. Tai! So you have

the crest of courage and you blew it! You were scared! All those people

died because you were scared! They were scared too Tai!" Matt yelled.

Ever since then Matt and Tai never have seen each other. (A/N: O.K.

we're going to the normal time now. Weeeeeeeee!)

Tai was taken out of his daydream by a loud crash in an alley. "Who's

there?" Tai demanded. A man started walking towards him with a knife in

his hand. Tai took a step back but the man launched towards him knocking

him down. Tai saw that the man was Matt. Matt was holding Tai's neck and

was ready to stab Tai.

"Matt, why are you doing this?"

"Well, Tai, my master ordered me to kill you. So that's what I'm going

to do." The knife came down and landed in Tai's heart. Blood was coming

out of his mouth. Tai's last words were, "Matt, I forgive you for this.

Do you forgive me for the massacre?" Matt's reply was, "NO!" The last

feeling that Tai had was pain in his soul that he wasn't forgiven. Tai

took his last breath and closed his

eyes.

"HA, HA, HA, HA! Excellent work Matt!" Shi complemented looking at the

three crests. One was Matt's. One was Kari's. And one was Tai's. Matt

asked, "Who do you want me to kill now my Lord?" Shi thought for a

moment thinking who would become leader after Tai and Matt. He smiled

and said, "Go kill Izzy and once your done with that go kill Joe Kido."

"Yes, Master." Matt replied running out the door again. Three down, five

to go. Thought Shi.
