THE ULTIMATE CLASH

This began as a chat...on ICQ and morphed itself into my rant for the episode "The Ultimate Clash" Call me lazy, but this I had a hellva a lot of fun fighting with these two and so here we are...For your personal enjoyment...the three musketeers of the Digimon ranting world...*smiles evilly* (please keep in mind that this is translated straight from chat format)

*Ash*> "THE ULTIMATE CLASH"

*Ash*> *Pan up to see three girls sitting on the rant couch...Ones with her Yama plushie, the other one with her Tai and the last with her Izzy one. They are arguing over who would win a MetalGarurumon/WarGreymon fight*

Raya> Neither are going to win. I mean logically speaking Fox Kids wouldn't let either win...but if one had to...I guess it would be Wargreymon

Ash*> But WarGreymon ALWAYS gets to win!! Can't Yama whoop everyone's butts for once? *I'd* find it entertaining!

*everyone stares*

*Ash*> *Ash notices the audience* Oh, uh HI! *waves* Welcome...As you can see I have some visitors today. *points to the other two girls* This is Remy and Raya some of my wonderfully talented RPing friends...

Raya> *Aves with one hand the other is to busy clutching her Izzy plushie.* Konnichiwa!

*Ash*> *At Remy and Raya* Don't worry, they don't bite unless you start talking Taito.

Remy^.^> *belatedly waves back frantically* Hey everyone!

Raya> *Takes the note and closes her mouth before she can say anything about Taito.* gotcha.

*Ash*> *laughs* Sorry, Remy got her head stuck in the couch there for a minute...Kiddin' Rem...Kiddin!!!

Raya> *Grumbles.* Izzy wasn't in this ep nearly enough.....

Remy^.^> *Takes out my mallet hammer* You`d better watch out Ash.... *Evil Laugh* Okay so um, yeah, I agree, where`s poor Izzy?

*Ash*> Where else? With Raya!

Remy^.^> Don`t remind me, she driving me nuts!

Raya> Poor Izzy is right here! *shows the plushie then hugs it again. Looks at the plushie for a moment then places it lovingly on the couch. She runs off stage for a moment and yells and crashing is heard. SHe comes back and sits down with a confused Izzy.* There we go. Now we may continue. *She smiles very largely.*

Remy^.^> It`s okay Raya, we all know about your obsession, but we really need to talk about the show!

*Ash*> Those poor execs...Next time take my chain, dear *smiles sweetly* So um, opinions guys...Whaddya think of the episode? Did you like it? Hate it? Want to maim someone for the pure thought of it?

Raya> I loved it! It finally explained the origins of everything. although the fighting ended to soon and FOX made the commercials seem like that was all the ep was about.

Remy^.^> Well, I thought it was okay.... I mean, what am I saying? Tai popped Matt a hard one. *Runs away crying. After 5 minutes returns with 2 more Tai plushies* I agree with Raya though. But I`m also happy that they didn`t fight long.*Pats all the plushies*

Raya> *laughs.* But it is funny how they returned to grade school name calling.

*Ash*> *grins* I have one thing to say....

*Ash*> Young Gennai...

*Ash*> GOD, He was hot. And I'm not just saying that because I'm slightly psycho...I'm saying that for a cartoon old guy who eventually becomes the human reincarnation of Yoda...he was truly HOT.

*Ash*> Heh heh....sorry, had to get that out of the way...

Remy^.^> Oh god, didn`t he look familiar? Like let`s just say a JEDI? LOL!

Raya> *Nods wildly and then sweatdrops as she sees the look on Izzy's face.* Oh! I love love ya!

*Ash*> Yep...*beams* Obi-Wan Kenobi in Digimon....*sighs* How much better could you get?...well, aside from maybe actually HAVING Obi-Wan Kenobi on Digimon...

Raya> Anyways...The beginning! *presses play and the ep starts.* gotta love how they are calling eachother brats. =)

Raya> "Don't look at me Matt's the one who started it. He's got a bug up his nose." Tai. "Bug up the nose? that's a bad thing?" Agumon.....what were the writers thinking?!

*Ash*> There was something that bothered me though. During the fight Tai (right before he whacks Yama *sweatdrops*) says he's doing it for all the "friends they'd lost." Wasn't Tai the one who was all "If we spend too much time remembering how are we going to save the world"? In "Playing Games"?

Raya> I agree.

Remy^.^> *Frowns* I must say one thing to, Fighting never solves anything, and did you see MetalGarurumon? Sheez a little on the um, nasty side, dontcha think?

Raya> Ah! But did you hear him in the ep preview?

Remy^.^> I know what you mean, I was heart broken, for my little Taichi!

Remy^.^> How could he be so mean?

*Ash*> He shouldn't have tried to hurt Tai *pouts* It forces me to go and write overly corny fics for no reason...I shouldn't have to do that!!

Remy^.^> I know, why on earth would he want to hurt Tai? Listening to a tree, what has the digi-world come to?

Raya> I *hides behind Izzy.* Disagree.

*Ash*> Matt wasn't so evil in this ep though. Just to Tai and that line after Tai says that he's jealous he's the leader and Matt says he doesn't want to lead the stupid group....Heh heh...*comes to her senses* STUPID group!? Well...okay, Sora, I can see but...

Raya> "I reassured Matt I would be on his side...Regardless of the consequences." Gabumon... I think Gabu-san was just trying to prove to Matt that he did have a friend by being loyal to his wishes. Ok and Tai always wins in fist fights...

*Ash*> By beating up Tai!!? But why Tai....why not Sora for God's sakes?

Raya> Because I'm going to beat her up.

Remy^.^> *Eyes go wide* Tai? How could you against our wittle Tai, but then again, I like Matt too. *Bits her lips* Okay, I`m on both their sides!

Remy^.^> Um.... Matt got a pretty god shot at Tai, didn`t he? Your not going to beat her up because I`m going to first!

*Ash*> *cringes when she remembers the end of the episode* Let's not go there...yet.

Raya> yeah we haven't gotten to the end yet.

Raya> Poor Gomamon....

Raya> They all started to fight each other.

*Ash*> Yeah, him and Gatomon!! Personally, Gatomon woulda probably kicked his butt, but we won't give him lack of trying!! *looks out to the audience* Any gamblers in the house?

Raya> yeah. And when Mimi didn't want to watch Sora said" Oh yeah like that's going to help." So she doesn't like fighting..back off Sora. *Izzy holds her back so she doesn't rushes off stage.*

Remy^.^> Still, it was kinda funny when Sora said that....

*Ash*> Mimi wanted to watch the flowers *smiles* Can't blame her though...If Matt and Tai were wrestling...um....on second thought....

Raya> So the voices only Kari were hearing was a digi-type...thing..

Remy^.^> Ash!

*Ash*> *innocently, a halo pops up* Yes?

Raya> Was I the only one to think Kari's voice got very cool?

Remy^.^> No way, it was so cool!

Remy^.^> Ash... tsk, tsk. tsk and you know what i mean!

*Ash*> My theory.....(Ash morphs into Izzy, much to Raya's discomfort) is that THAT was the voice actresses REAL voice. It sort of had the Kari quality to it still...

Remy^.^> I know what you mean, it was like sort of an adults but it had Kari`s voice to it!

Raya> "So somebody find a switch and flip the lights back on." Jyuo- Is it only me or does Jyuo seem to be the comic relief?

*Ash*> My point exactly ^^

Raya> *Snatches Izzy back.* Oh!!! And the little digi-destinied!!!

Raya> Izzy as a plump little baby! *She smiles and Izzy sweatdrops.*

*Ash*> Another thing I noticed. *goes off into own twisted little world* In "Return To Heighton View Terrace" Midget Kari was wearing a bunny suit. In this she wasn't...It's a conspiracy I tell you!! Toei's screwing with our minds!

Raya> I know! I remember that and It looked like Sora. NOW it looks like Kari....

Remy^.^> I know, and she didn`t look so small either, did she?

*Ash*> Nope...*gets dizzy and falls over* Too many plot changes...head all spinny...

Raya> So they go into the warp hole..and pop up in a labratory..type..place.

*Ash*> Looks like Andromon's house....*hides* I hate Andromon...He's so...William Shatner before he was William Shatner...

Raya> And they see the digi-eggs. and holographic people....all the Myo-kun junk.

Remy^.^> Hey you know what I thought was good? I though Tai was pretty good in this ep. I mean, he made that cool face when He was saying that Matt wanted to be the boss! I though he was a lot like Matt in the past episode more realistic.

*Ash*> You ALWAYS think Tai's good, Remy!

Raya> "Let me guess those are the elves that make the shoes at night." -Jyuo. I'm really starting to like that guy. Every other line is Sarcastic!

*Ash*> I like his "Hey, wasn't that friendship" *SLAP* When they were telling the "Voice" what their crests meant. Good ol' Jyou. Do you realize that when Digimon 02 swings around it would be technically possible for all of us to date Jyou? Actually, don't reply to that!

Raya> Yeah. *laughs and then calms down from the glare she recieves from Izzy.

Remy^.^> I know, Joe, is so funny, I especially loved his quote from the past episode: "I know they`re all thinking about me, that`s why everyone is so quiet..." Joe, one to lighten up many days and many days to come!

*Ash*> Um....*looks hopeful* Can we talk about Young Gennai again?

Raya> We are getting there!

Remy^.^> Gennai, so cute, so, so Jedi like.... he he he!

*Ash*> *Ash is floating* Sword....lightsaber...*drools*

Remy^.^> *Grabs young Gennai plushies* heh he he Ash, you won`t get any from me

Raya> *smiles.* Tai finally realizes what he did to get.....*Realizes she lost Remy and Ash to Gennai. Grabs the camera and points to herself.* Sorry ladies and gentlemen we have lost to of our reporters to ...drooling...yes drooling...how tragic *shakes head.*

*Ash*> Damn you!! *Remy and Ash start fighting behind the couch*

Remy^.^> *Grabs a Young Gennai and sticks in Ash`s face then polls it back* EW, Drool!

Raya> *Looks back and sighs.* Anyways the holograms were very cool. and when Gennai took the eggs we discovered why Gato-san grew up alone.

*Ash*> *from behind the couch* No!! MetalGarurumon! Sick her!

Raya> And to File Island they went! Now we know what they all look like in there....um..youngest stage? yeah that's it..and then the Digidestined falling..yet again!

Remy^.^> Aw so sad! *Grabs Ash`s hair and gives it a good yank before getting clobbered by MetalGarurumon* Ahhh! You`ll kill me before you get any Young Gennai plushies!

*Ash*> Tai looked like he had a stick up his...um....nevermind...when he was falling...Sorry....that's all I have to say. *shrugs*

Remy^.^> *Looks up* Hey Raya, going a wittle fast dontcha think!

Raya> *Sighs and shakes her head.* ok I've lost them.....*looks behind the couch and pokes Ash.* I'm dying out here!

*Ash*> Then we have more time to talk about the little stupid things!! *pokes up her head, smiles* Sorry...Uh...Where were we?

Raya> Well! Then come help! *hides behind Izzy.*

Raya> The topic was; Young Gennai. I..think..I zoomed ahead. Sorry digi-fans.

*Ash*> Oh, yeah...I think I'm going to need some Digital pictures of Young Gennai *smiles sweetly at the audience* Please? I'll rent you Yama for a day!!

Remy^.^> Hey what about the beginning when MetalGarurumon said: " And what are you gonna do about it?" *Starts to bawl. Then hugs her Plushies closer*

Raya> ok...What in the HECK did Piedmon put in Gennai?

Remy^.^> Oh yeah, about that, it was a little black ball, what was it? That is the question!

*Ash*> Good question ...*runs off to find Piedmon*

Raya> Don't forget this!!! *Holds up Phantomon's Chain.*

*Ash*> Thank you...

Remy^.^> Yeah, but didn`t they say something about the Dark masters are planning something but they didn`t know what? Maybe Gennai is like a messenger.

Raya> There's a thought,

Remy^.^> *Hands Ash a young Gennai plushie* Okay, you can have one to defeat Piedmon, so Tai won`t um... *Cough* wah!

Raya> Gato-san looked so sad when her egg dropped.....*sniff.*

*Ash*> *returns a few minutes later with MetalGarurumon. Piedmon's boot is in his mouth* Sorry...guys, he wouldn't tell me. *MetalGarurumon burps* Heh heh.

Remy^.^> GATOMON! Don`t we all love her? *Smiles then grabs some Gatomon Plushies* Yay! *Looks over at MetalGarurumon* You could at least say Excuse me!

*Ash*> METALGARURUMON: What are you going to do about it? Ahhhh....... *Runs away with her Plushies and hides behind Tai!

Raya> *Izzy tries to sneak away but Raya grabs the back of his shirt and sits him down.* I still say that Biyomon is ugly in all her stages...sorry very off the topic but saw them in their infant stage.

*Ash*> *falls off the couch...But ends up drowning in all Remy's plushies* Are these really necessary? At the end, when Sora gives her 3 minute spiel to T.K I almost threw up... Actually...*looks ill* I believe I did!

Raya> She's separating the brothers! grr. ...

*Ash*> Why does she have to be so dull...and perfect....and idiotic...? *smiles* One of God's rare mistakes...

Remy^.^> Yep, very ugly! *Starts to walk back from MetalGarurumon with Tai still in front of her* You`d um... Better stay away! *Sits down on the couch with the *REAL* Tai beside her.. *Hey Remy...and um, who exactly are you people?

Raya> Because she is your basic Female character. You basically have one in every show. They are there for balance.

Remy^.^> I know but we all hate her!

*Ash*> Like Misty from Pokemon....Urge to kill rising....RISING....

Remy^.^> *Tai decides to add to our Rant* Um... Yeah, I hate her, but don`t tell anyone else. They seem to um *Cough* Think we`re a good couple !

Raya> TO TAI: That's because you belong with Matt dear. *eeps and jumps behind the couch as knives rocks and other things are aimed at her.*

*Ash*> ...heh heh....I agree, Raya...*joins Raya behind the couch to avoid Matt/Mimi-ers and Tai/Sora-ers*

Raya> I'm just avoiding the non-Taito people...*Peeks over the couch and ducks again.*

*Ash*> Hey? Why am I hiding? This is my site! I can say what I want!!

Remy^.^> Yep, yep all, I agree with them. *Stands my ground* Ahh, help! *Tomatoes and rotten banana`s fly at me* Sheesh you people, get real!

Raya> *Peeks over the couch.* I can too... But I just am avoiding the thrown stuff.

*Ash*> Yes Tai would like to "Bygones to be bygones between them" Heh heh...*refrains from saying what's truly on her mind*

Remy^.^> Me with Matt? Now, hey that`s an idea! *Gets clobbered by just about everyone* Hey, hey, just kidding!

*Ash*> That and we all know who Matt is with in here....*Ash and Tai exchange long glances*

Raya> *Claps hands.* yup yup!

Remy^.^> But still, Matt is a hottie!*Cheeks turn bright red then runs away screaming as Ash takes out her chain of hers*

*Ash*> Ya, you better run...*smiles*

Raya> I have Izzy, I'm happy. *Izzy sweatdrops and looks at Raya then shrugs going along with it.*

Remy^.^> Well, Tai, I`m a 2 man girl.... heh, heh, no just, um uh kidding!

Raya> Izzy: *grabs Tai's arm.* Run! They are ranting! *receives a glare from Raya.*

*Ash*> *gazes at the title of the page* RANTS...*looks at Izzy, frowns* That's my job dear.

Raya> Jyuo stayed with Mimi!! Jyuo stayed with Mimi!

*Ash*> Jyou and Mimi!! I like Jyou and Mimi as a couple. It keeps Mimi away from Matt and Raya from killing me over the whole Izzy/Mimi thing! ^^

Remy^.^> Oh, the end, yes was the saddest yet, I think, except for when Tai disappeared from the Digi-world!

*Ash*> *Ash's lip quivers* YAMA'S GONE!!!

Raya> So over all...I liked the ep!

Remy^.^> *Slaps Raya on the back* Me too, me too!

Raya> *Falls over and grumbles.* Slap me..you little. *laughs and sits back on the couch.* Can't wait till next week!

*Ash*> Speaking of Matt and Tai, I'd like to take an interlude to mention my new fic "One Winged Angel" is almost done...Little off topic, but hey...was this rant ever ON topic? Heh...

Remy^.^> Um, not really actually. It is, but when? *Grabs Ash by her shirt* FINISH IT!

Raya> *slowly tip toes away.* I loved it Ash...Take my advice people..it is a great fic!

Raya> *Sees Remy and runs behind Izzy.* eep!

*Ash*> *smiles* Very soon...Just need to write the start....And I loved the ep...I thought the whole "explain how we got to the Digiworld" was very overdue. And Young Gennai....oh, boy...

Remy^.^> Please finish, please? hey, how about a page advertisement, I`ll pay you young Gennai plushies!

*Ash*> *rolls her eyes* alright Rem...go ahead...Raya ! Where you think you're going!

Raya> Izzy: Great I was barely in this one imagine how hard she'll hug when I am the ONLY one in it...

*Ash*> And yes, *bows* if you two or you, Raya, would like to take over for the next two eps while I'm in Florida...

Remy^.^> SURE!!

Raya> Of course! *Nods to Remy and hears the croud moan.* oh shoosh!

Remy^.^> Yeah, Me and Raya will do rants, now won`t we?*Takes Raya`s head and nods*

*Ash*> ...And Yama...and Young Gennai...*walks off dreamily*

Remy^.^> Hey raya, we could have the whole cast with us!

*Ash*> *Comes back* Oh, yeah...::cries:: Two weeks...I'll miss...you guys....

Remy^.^> So, all in all, a great episode, a little sad and a great explanation, even though some of it didn`t make sense. *Gives Tai a kiss on the cheek * Farewell everyone, and yes Love Tai for the love of god!

Raya> *Shakes her head and bows deeply to the croud.* Arigato Minna-san. I hope we didn't cause you too big of a headache.

Remy^.^> I wish you could finish When Darkness is falling or whatever the title is!

*Ash*> *smiles sheepishly at the mention of her neglected fic* Um...Time to go me thinks....!

Remy^.^> *Nods her head in agreement* Bye EVERYONE! We`ll miss you, till next rants, Sayonara Minna san!

*Ash*> *bows* Til next time, minna! Me and my sunny dispositions are...

*Ash*> Outta here!!! (and to the sunny beaches of Florida) *starts humming the Beach Boys*

Remy^.^> Ash, and don`t forget your Alter ego Taichi. heh, heh!

*Ash*> Oh, yeah....*smiles* the evil one who tells me to burn things...^^ *realizes everyone is looking at her funny and runs from the room* Later ~*ash*~

Raya> *Both Raya and Izzy bow.* Jya ma ta ne!
