We found the hotel we had stayed in back in 1998, and checked in. We put our stuff into our rooms. Then we headed over to Great Aunt Elaine's house. We soon found her house and got out of the vehicles. I was carrying Little while Katie carried Belle. Grandma rang the doorbell, and Elaine answered.
"Oh hello guys! Come in come in!"Elaine said happily. "Oh Meghan! You've really grown since I've last seen you!"
"Hi Elaine. I sure am glad to see you again!"I said as we hugged, making sure Little didn't get squished.
"And who are these young men?"Elaine asked, referring to Hanson.
"I'm Isaac."
"I'm Taylor."
"I'm Zac and we're in the band Hanson."
"Oohh. Nice to meet you guys,"Elaine said.
"I'm Walker, the boys' father,"Walker introduced himself.
"Lunch is just about ready. Help youselves,"Elaine told us.
I was going to put Little down, but she didn't want to be put down. So I kept on carrying her like you would carry a baby with the head at your shoulder. Little liked to be held that way for some reason.
We all helped ourselves to some lunch. Grandma brought in one of the coolers from the car, filled with cold drinks. Elaine put in some more ice. Grandma, back at the hotel, had made sure we had our swimsuits on under our clothes, and also made sure there were some towels and sunscreen in the beachbag.
After we've eaten, we crossed a couple of streets together and went to the beach. I took my shoes and my shirt off. I decided to leave my shorts on since I wasn't planning on fully being in the water. I planned on videotapin and collecting even more seashells to add to my collection at home. Katie and Sara had gotten right to building sand castles.
We spent a lot of time out at the beach, and I found a few cool shells, but not many though. Tay, Ike, and Zac had a water fight, throwing water at eachother. Of course I got that on tape. At one point, Tay and Ike decided to really torture Zac so they threw him into the water, clothes and all! That was such a funny sight!
"Grrrrrrr alright peoples! You are soooo gonna get it!"Zac screamed and ran after Tay.
Everybody else just laughed. Zac caught up with Tay and put a handful of wet sand down the back of his shirt. Tay and Zac just kept on doing things like that most of the time. Crazy guys!
