This is a transcription of the 1820 petition for a pension for a disabled Revolutionary War veteran. It is a certified schedules of income and assets. This petition is a challenge to the ruling that he did not qualify for aid. Congress passed an Pension act in 1776 and amended it a number of times. He applied initially in 1818. The act was amended in 1820. He was removed but restored in 1823.
