The golden hue of sunshine beams down upon my face
And past my ears her breath blows by whispering words of grace
Her gentle face stirs t’ward mine with red lips full and welcoming
Offering the enticing taste that only her kiss brings.

Intoxicating sweet soft skin I kiss and trace her form
And watch her perfect silhouette by the newly forming dawn
She knows not what I’m thinking now as her chest does ebb and flow
But within me she did plant a seed and that seed of love will grow.

Nurtured by the truth of love that ancients have foretold
And watered by the tears of joy worth more than precious gold
The pain the tears and heartache that the battled heart endured

Her eyes have not yet opened but need not I to see
