A few weeks later at Vivacia's weyr...
Some weeks after you first met Vivacia, you find yourself back in the vincinity of Jerdan Weyr. Remembering the friendly girl and her fire lizard you decide to go see her again- maybe she's impressed and you can see her dragon! You begin the trek up the cliff face, ducking slightly in case blue Mirthi decides to divebomb you again. You reach the entrance to the cave without incident, and can hear giggling emanating from inside. Peering in you can see Vivacia sitting on the floor next to a polished stone couch upon which is a small green dragon!
Mirthi, flapping around near the ceiling, is the first to see you. Chirping he flies over, landing on your arm and causing Vivacia to look up. "Hello! You came back!" she exclaims, jumping up. "Oops." In her excitement she has knocked over the bottle of oil that was next to her on the ground. The green hatchling looks at her reproachfully as Vivacia picks it up and grabs a rag. Mopping busily she introduces you. "This is Lyneth, my bondmate. She's such wonderful company, I'm never alone anymore. She's a hatchling now, but is growing so fast! That's why I have to oil her so much, cause dry skin cracks between." Finished with the floor Vivacia moves to the entrance of the weyr, followed by Lyneth and Mirthi, who promptly begin chasing each other. "I'm so happy I impressed. There's another clutch at the weyr, why don't you apply? It's a wonderful experience." Watching Vivacia and Lyneth together, you're beginning to think that might not be a bad idea. Telling her you'll think about it, you say farewell and return to the weyrbowl.
