Gohan: Very different from a lot of the Dragonball guys, Gohan actually has a little bit of sensitivity in his heart. He learned from a very early age how easy it was to lose the people you love, and how important it is to treat them with respect and kindness while they’re still with you. He gained his father’s kindness and his mother’s level head, creating him into something of a Super Son. ^_- He is everything that his parents could have hoped for, someone who is thoughtful and loving, strong and sincere. He cares very, very much about the people around him, and always wants to do the right thing. Many times, he is the voice of reason in times of pain and panic, and he is always ready to help others.

Videl: Through the years, Videl has calmed down from the stubborn, egotistical girl that she used to be. Meeting Gohan, having someone to love and hold onto, really changed her and made her a better person. However, because of her past and her interactions with her father, she is terrified that one day she is going to lose it all. This fear transfers into anger, thinking that at any moment Gohan is going to disappoint her and leave her all alone. She is very protective of Pan and loves her dearly, trying to be the best possible mother that she can be. Sometimes because she is so protective of her family, she doesn’t think very clearly, and can make careless hurtful decisions. She is strong and ambitious, but the larger part of her is still just a scared little girl.

Status: New Love. They are just starting out as a new family and learning what it’s like to live on their own and take care of a child. This can be a very stressful, very hard time for couples, especially if the parents can’t agree on child-raising methods. During this time, they are discovering new things about each other that they aren’t entirely sure that they like. Gohan doesn’t seem to like how panicky Videl can get about Pan, and in return, Videl doesn’t appreciate how much Gohan cares for his family. There is still love there, and there always will be, but at this point in time, it isn’t that stable. They both really do love each other very much, that’s why they’re married, why they had a child together. Gohan loves Videl’s spirit and her fight, and in return, Videl loves Gohan’s kindness and sensitivity. Both of them have amazing qualities that the other finds incredible and endearing. Sometimes though, little annoyances and words can be very damaging to a relationship. Once both of them are stable and they’ve worked all of the problems out of the relationship, they will be a very solid, very loving couple.
