Kali pulled her car into his driveway, smiling at his house. She parked his car and made her way into the house, unlocking the door with the key he kept hidden under the bench. She didn’t bother to ring the doorbell, knowing he was the studio and not home anyways.

She walked slowly through the house, taking in everything she loved about this man. Her man. Soon enough she found herself at the door to his room. Sighing, she pushed the door open, her heart fluttering as his scent assaulted her brain.

‘I went to your house
Walked up the stairs
Opened your door without ringing the bell
Walked down the hall
Into your room where I could smell you’

Kali ran her doubts through her head. She shouldn’t be there, not without having his permission. He’d probably freak out if he ever knew. But she needed to be near him, needed to smell him.

‘And I shouldn't be here
Without permission
Shouldn't be here...’

Kali couldn’t help laughing as she danced around in his shower, knowing that just that morning he’d been in that shower. Naked and wet. She shivered at the picture.

Stepping out of the shower, she made her way to the bedroom once more, jumping on the bed like a little kid. She buried her head in his pillow, loving how it smelt.

‘Would you forgive me love if I dance in your shower?
Would you forgive me love if I laid in your bed?
Would you forgive me love if I stay all afternoon?'

Kali spotted his rode and stood, ridding herself of her clothes and pulling the soft material around her. She made her way to his drawers and found his clothes, inhaling the sweet smell.

Making her way down to his den, she spotted his CD’s. Smiling, she picked up his Joni CD and made her way upstairs again.

‘I took off my clothes
Put on your robe
Went through your drawers
And I found your cologne
Went down do the den
Found your CD's
And I played your Joni’

Again Kali thought about how she should go home. After all, he’d probably be home soon.

But she shrugged off the feeling and put the Joni CD in, once again dancing in the shower. Only to find herself on the bed and laying on his pillow once more.

‘And I shouldn't stay long
You might be home soon
Shouldn't stay long...
Would you forgive me love if I danced in your shower
Would you forgive me love if I laid in your bed?
Would you forgive me love if I stay all afternoon?’

Kali lit the incense and turned the bath on. She knew this incense was his favorite. This was how he calmed down after a stressful day. A bath and incense.

As the bathtub finished filling, Kali took a glance at his desk. That’s when she noticed a letter sitting there, his name printed on it, along with a heart.

Stopping the water, Kali made her way to the desk, slowly picking up the letter and reading.

‘I burned your incense
I ran a bath
I noticed a letter that sat on your desk
It said:
"Hello love.
I love you so, love.
Meet me at midnight."
And no,it wasn't my writing
I'd better go soon
It wasn't my writing’

Kali’s tears fell down her cheeks as she blew out the incense and drained the bath tub. She stepped in his shower, one last time, thinking of how some other girl wrote that letter to him.

As Kali changed back into her clothes, throwing his robe on a chair, her eyes drifted to the bed once more.

‘So forgive me love if I cry in your shower
So forgive me love for the salt in your bed
So forgive me love if I cry all afternoon’
