-Their Game-Nick threw his suitcases on the ground, wondering exactly why he wanted to bring so much. It was only 2 months, he could live off one suitcase. The thought made him laugh and he collapsed on the bed. Suddenly he sat up, looking around the room for Memphis. They had arrived at the hotel at One PM but the boys had to go directly to a radio station for an interview. So Memphis had stayed behind and brought her own luggage up. When he came back, he had to carry his things up on his own. And now he wanted to see Memphis, to… make sure she was all right. “Mem?” He called out, walking to the door of his hotel room and glancing out. Just then the bathroom door opened and music started blaring. He briefly wondered how he hadn’t heard it before. Memphis came out the bathroom, dancing to Guns N’ Roses, ‘Sweet Child O’ Mine.’ She jumped as she felt Nick’s arms wrap around her. He started to sing along with Axial Rose, “She’s got a smile that seems to me, reminds me of childhood memories, where everything was as fresh as bright blue sky. Now and then when I see her face, she takes me away to that special place and if I stared too long, I’d probably break down and cry.” Nick pulled back from her and started dancing around. Memphis started laughing, dancing with him and singing as well, “Wooo whoa sweet child o’ mine! Whoa whoaaa sweet love of mine!” Nick turned to her, smiling, “She’s got eyes of the bluest skies, as if they thought of rain. I hate to look into those eyes and see an ounce of pain.” Nick reached out and touched her hair as he continued to sing, “Her hair reminds me of a warm safe place, where as I child I’d hide. And pray for the thunder, and the rain, to quietly pace me by!” They dance again, holding each other, laughing, and singing, “Whoa whoa, sweet child o’ mine! Whoa whooaaa sweet love of mine!” “Where do we go now, where do we go now. Where do we go. Sweet child o’ mine!” Nick bent low to her, singing low in his throat. He continued to sing, closing her eyes and pulling her to him. “She's got a smile that it seems to me. Reminds me of childhood memories, where everything was as fresh as the bright blue sky. Now and then when I see her face she takes me away to that special place, and if I stared too long I'd probably break down and cry. Whoa sweet child o’ mine… whoa whoa sweet love of mine.” Memphis smiled when the song ended. She looked at Nick as he held her. Slowly his lips came towards hers, their lips touchy lightly. An undeniable shock bounced through them, making both shiver. Nick pulled back, amazed. “I… gotta go…” Nick took off out of the room, leaving a very shaken, and very confused, Memphis behind.
