~ Chapter 3~
He got out of the car and she followed him up into the house where they guys
had set up a surprise party for Kristy. "Surprise" Kevin, AJ, Howie, Nick,
and Nick's girlfriend Pamela screamed. They soon noticed Brian's crying eyes
and the sadness on Kristy's face.
"What happened? What did we miss? Rok why are you crying? Kristy, what's
wrong?" AJ shot out a bunch questions all at once. Brian ran to the bathroom
and slammed the door, while she just stood there not knowing what to say.
"Kristy?".
"Huh?" she answered snapping out of her thoughts.
"What happened?"
"Nothing".
"Nothing, this doesn't look liked nothing" Kevin spat out angrily while
trying to get Brian to come out. Kevin had never liked Kristy or the fact
that Brian was so close to her. He had once told Brian that she was bad for
him, and that she was just going to mess with his mind.
"AJ, Pamela can I talk to you guys alone for a minute" Kristy asked giving
Kevin an evil stare. The three of them walked outside and sat on the front
steps to the house. "Guys, besides Brian I consider you guys my best friends,
you know that right?" They nodded still not saying a word. "I need help."
"What, what happened" Aj asked once more.
"Well, Brian and I were sitting on the porch talking one night about two
weeks ago and I realized something." She paused waiting for a response that
she didn't get. "I realized that I... Nevermind, I just have to forget about
it."
"You realized that you love Brian as more than just a Best Friend" Pamela
finished her sentence with a small grin. Kristy nodded and looked towards the
stars.
"And I got scared. Then on the way here I asked him if he ever thought of
what life would be like if we never met. I told him that I thought about what
it would be like not hurting everytime he was with me."
"Why did you tell him that?" Aj questioned.
"Because it is true, everytime I am with him it hurts me so much to know
that we will never be anything but friends".
"Want us to talk to him for you?" Pamela offered.
"No, I guess I have to do that myself" Kristy said standing up and dusting
the dirt of her pants. "Thank you guys".
"Anytime!" Pamela smiled. AJ walked up to Kristy and hugged her while
whispering 'good luck' in her ear. While they were talking, Kevin was making
his way back around the house to sneek in the backdoor.
"So...Kristy is in love with Brian, Isn't that cute..... No. I have to find
a way to keep them apart, and kill there friendship".
