*~The Dream Of A Lifetime~*“You guys are pathetic,” Nickolas said, as he waited in the lobby with his fellow band mates. He shook his head and chuckled. “Why?” Howard asked. “Going out with someone ya don’t even know,” Nickolas said. “Someone who didn’t even thank Loni for introducing ya’ll.” “All that matters,” Kevin began, “is that it’s getting us away from you.” “Whatever,” Nickolas said rolling his eyes. “You’d go out with Loni the first chance you got,” Howard said. “Admit it.” “Whatever,” Nickolas repeated, as the lobby doors opened and they looked. It wasn’t anyone they knew and they all looked away and waited patiently. They waited a few more minutes and the lobby doors opened again and they all stood up. Valondra led her friends over to the Boys and they all looked at each other. “Hey, guys,” Valondra said. “Hey,” the Boys said simultaneously. “Ya look good,” Valondra said. “Thanks,” Howard said. “Farah,” Kevin began, “you look great.” “Thanks,” Farah said, as Kevin kissed her cheek. “You’re looking good too.” “Thank you,” Kevin said. “Howie, you’re looking good,” Lillie said. “Gracias,” Howard said. “You’re as beautiful as the stars in the sky.” “That was corny,” Valondra said laughing and Nickolas smiled at her. “They’re all so cute. I need a picture.” She took her camera out of her bag. “All of you stand together, because I’m only taking one picture.” They all obeyed and Valondra took her picture. “Spank you.” She smiled, as did the others. “Now I got something to put in my basement to scare the rats away.” She laughed and they all shook their heads. “Don’t ya’ll have somewhere to be? Aren’t you going to be late?” “We’re going,” Kevin said. “You guys behave.” “Always,” Valondra said, as Kevin, Farah, Howard, and Lillie walked out. “I didn’t think you’d come,” Nickolas said and Valondra looked at him. “I didn’t think so either,” Valondra said. “But Fox had a date tonight so…” “I’m glad he did,” Nickolas said and Valondra smiled at him. “I’m heading up,” Alexander said. “You guys coming?” “Yeah,” Nickolas said. “Do you want to join us?” “I guess so,” Valondra said. “Toni, Ariel.” “Ariel went outside,” Antoinette stated. “She saw something, but won’t say what.” “I’m heading up with the guys,” Valondra said. “Are you going to come along?” “Yeah, sure,” Antoinette said, as they all got on the elevator. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * “I knew it was you,” Ariel said, as she looked at the tall blonde standing in front of her. “I swear to God I knew it was you…Jonathan Brandis.” He just smiled and she extended her hand. “Ariel Jackson.” “Nice to meet you,” Jonathan said taking her hand and shaking it. “I can die happy now,” Ariel smirked. “You don’t want to do that,” Jonathan said. “Sure I do,” Ariel said spying Lillie, Farah, Howard, and Kevin. “Guys, come here.” They walked over to her and she smiled. “Meet the one, the only…Jonathan Brandis.” “No way,” Lillie said. “Way,” Ariel said. “Ain’t this awesome?” “Very,” Farah said. “Your life is now complete.” “Almost,” Ariel said. “These are my friends by the way…Lillie and Farah and I’m sure you already know who Howie D and Kevin are.” “I’ve seen them around,” Jonathan replied. “Nice to meet you.” “Likewise,” Kevin said, as they all shook hands. “We have to go though.” “Alright,” Ariel said. “Have fun.” “We will,” Lillie said, as they walked away. “You probably have to go to,” Ariel said to Jonathan. “You’re most likely busy.” “Actually I’m on vacation right now,” Jonathan stated. “I’m here visiting family.” Ariel nodded and they stood there in silence a few minutes. “I have nothing to do tonight.” She looked at him. “I know we just met and all, but I was heading to the movies, and if you’re interested I could use some company. If you’re not some crazed homicidal fan.” “Me?” Ariel said surprised. “You’re the only one I see,” Jonathan replied. “Wow, um…” She smiled. “I’d love to.” “Great.” She smiled some more. “You’re not a homicidal fan are you?” “No way; you can ask anyone.” “I’ll take your word.” “Good.” He smiled. “Let’s go then.” “Do you need to freshen up or anything?” “Nope; I freshened up before I left home.” “Alright.” “If ya don’t mind I’m going to go tell my friends quick.” “Not at all. I have a phone call to make anyway.” “Ok. I’ll be right back.” Jonathan just nodded and Ariel ran inside. She didn’t see her friends in the lobby and went straight up to the presidential suite. She knocked on the door and it opened up. “Alex, hey, where’s Loni and Toni?” “Watching the tellie and playing cards,” Alexander replied. “Come on in.” Ariel walked in and the others looked at her. “Hey, girl,” Antoinette said. “What’s up?” “I can’t join ya’s tonight,” Ariel said. “Why not?” Valondra asked. “Because I just got me a date,” Ariel replied. “With who?” Valondra and Antoinette asked in unison. “One very sexy movie star,” Ariel said. “What’s his name?” Antoinette wanted to know. Ariel smiled and said, “Jonathan Brandis.” “Get out of here,” Valondra said. “You’re bullshitting.” “I am not,” Ariel said. “You can come down and see for yourself.” “We’ll take you word,” Antoinette said. “We just started this game of poker.” “Ok,” Ariel said. “I’ll bring him by later then.” “Whatever,” Valondra said. “Have fun.” “You know I will,” Ariel said walking out. She went back down to the lobby and went outside where Jonathan was still waiting. “Ok we can go now.” “Great,” Jonathan said and they started walking.
