*~The Dream Of A Lifetime~*Chapter 5 “Oh shit,” Valondra said beginning to laugh. “What?” Ariel asked. “I told Fox I’d call him at, like, one,” Valondra said. “And it’s like 1:30 now.” “He’s just a guy,” Ariel said. “No biggy.” “True,” Valondra said. “I’ll call him later.” “You do that.” Valondra nodded. “You’d think those fans were getting murdered out there.” “You’re telling me. At least we didn’t freak out like that.” “That’s because we are mature. We can control ourselves in front of fine hot young men unlike some people.” “Yeah, like Farah, Hannah, and Lillie last night. They were drooling non-stop and Hannah and Lillie fainted. They just went down and it was so funny.” They laughed. “I wish I would’ve taken you and Toni and Fox with me instead. With you guys I would’ve gotten a thank you.” “Yes you would have and I thank you again for introducing us to each other.” “Anytime.” Valondra smiled and looked around the dining area. “Did you know we’re the only ones in here?” “Pretty cool ain’t it?” Valondra nodded. “Food fight!” Ariel flung a spoonful of her banana split at Valondra and got her in the face. “Oh my God. You little bitch.” Valondra got a spoonful of her hot fudge sundae and flung it at Ariel. “This is war! Die!” She flung another spoonful of her sundae at her. “Never!” Valondra got her in the face again and quickly ducked before she got hit. They started throwing whatever leftovers they could find at each other unaware that the wait staff was watching them. They continued for about ten more minutes and by that time the Boys were also watching them. No one tried stopping them and they all just stood there laughing. Valondra got a handful of mashed potatoes and threw them at Ariel, but missed and got Nickolas in the face. Everyone got quiet except for Ariel and Valondra who continued laughing. “I’m so sorry, Nick.” Nickolas just put a grin on his face and walked over to where Valondra was standing. “I’m really sorry.” She kept herself from doubling over in laughter and Nickolas shook his head. “Ok, no I’m not sorry.” Nickolas continued grinning and got a handful of potatoes and smeared them all over Valondra’s head. Everyone started to laugh again and Valondra looked at the table of food, as Nickolas stood there smiling. She got a handful of cake and looked at Nickolas then shoved it in his mouth. “Now who’s smiling?” She smiled. “Uh-oh,” Brian exclaimed moving so he could get a better view. He stood beside Ariel, who stepped aside so she wouldn’t be in the line of fire. Nickolas only looked at Valondra and picked up a napkin, as she said, “Let me get that for you.” She smiled and took the napkin from Nickolas. “I did it so I should clean it off.” “She just wants to touch him,” Howard smirked and everyone looked at him. Valondra and Nickolas ignored Howard’s comment and Nickolas said, “That’s ok, Loni, I can get it.” Nickolas picked up some cake and shoved it in her mouth. “Oh no,” Ariel said. “Nobody messes with Loni and gets away with it.” “Thanks a lot,” Valondra said. “How’d ya know I have a sweet tooth?” Nickolas looked at her and she smiled, as she picked up a napkin. She went to wipe her mouth, but tackled Nickolas to the floor instead. “Oomph!” Valondra grabbed some cake and smeared it all over Nickolas, as everyone began to laugh. They started rolling around on the floor, as the girls walked in. “What in the hell happened in here?” Lillie asked, as they debated on whether they should go in or not. “It looks like a baby was let loose.” They began laughing, as they saw Nickolas and Valondra rolling on the floor and Ariel covered in food. “And what are you guys laughing at?” Ariel asked. “What the hell did you do?” Hannah asked. “Well, Loni threw her sundae at me,” Ariel lied. “And it just turned into this big thing between us and then Nick got involved.” “Liar,” Valondra said from the floor. “Ariel started it.” Ariel just grinned. “What the hell happened in here?” someone demanded an answer and everyone got serious. “This place looks ridiculous! You guys start cleaning up now!” Nickolas and Valondra got up off the floor. “I have wedding guests coming in one hour and this place better be spotless!” He looked away from the wait staff and at the others. “I am the manager of this hotel and I expect this place to be clean. I’ve got to serve the public. If this ever happens again, you guys are out. I don’t care if you are the President of the United States or the Pope. I will not allow this in my hotel. Do I make myself clear?” They all nodded their heads in agreement and he looked at Valondra. “Valondra, I’m disappointed in you.” “You’re not the first, Uncle Spence,” Valondra said. “I should call your parents and let them know about your behavior.” “They won’t care. They’re not even in town anyway. They went to Paris with my brother and sister; have fun trying to contact them.” She went to walk out and he stopped her. She looked at him and was glad the food was hiding her tears. “Your parents love you, Loni, and they will care if you start becoming a bad ass.” “My parents don’t give two shits about me, Spence. The only time they know I’m alive is when they need someone to yell at. We were just having a little fun and if that’s so wrong then you’re no better than my parents.” She pulled her arm from his hold and stormed out. She stopped at the maid’s cart and grabbed a towel. She took it over her face and looked in the mirror, as the others joined her. “Are you all right?” Ariel asked. “Yeah,” Valondra replied wiping off her face. “You know that man?” Kevin asked. “Yeah,” Valondra repeated. “He’s my…he’s my Godfather; Spencer Cronin.” She sighed. “He’s more of a father to me than my own father.” “I’m sorry,” Kevin said. “Whatever,” Valondra said. “You’re so immature,” Hannah said. “Excuse me for wanting to have a little fun,” Valondra replied. “What just happened in there had nothing to do with you.” She walked to the lobby and the others followed her. “You must not have a humorous side, do you?” “Yeah,” Hannah said. “But messing up a public place isn’t something I find funny.” “Whatever,” Valondra said. “If you had my life you’d understand better.” She stopped walking and looked at herself. “I’m covered in food. Thanks a lot, Ariel.” “No problem,” Ariel said. “You poor baby,” Hannah said. “That’s apart of life. You live then you die. There’s nothing you can do about it, but just live with it.” “What the hell is your problem?” Valondra questioned standing in front of Hannah. “What did I do to you? I let you come to the concert last night. The least you could do is thank me for it, but you didn’t and never will. Instead you’ll bite my head off about only God knows what. So what is it that I have done so terribly wrong this time?” “You really want to know?” Hannah asked and Valondra nodded. “Ok, I’ll tell you. It’s quite simple you see. You have been acting like you’re all that and more since you met the BSB. You left Toni alone at your house so you could come here.” “I didn’t leave anyone alone at my house,” Valondra snapped. “Toni left to do her own things instead of coming with me.” “Yeah,” Antoinette said. “I just stopped by to see if she was home yet.” “Yeah right,” Hannah said. “Stop defending her. That’s all you guys ever do.” Valondra rolled her eyes and walked away from her. “Just walk away. That’s what you do best anyway.” “At least I have the decency to walk away before I say something I regret,” Valondra rebutted. “You’re supposed to be my friend or was it all just an act.” “Maybe it was,” Hannah said. “What’s more important than spending time with your friends?” “I was returning Brian’s jacket,” Valondra replied. “You just met Brian and you’re already screwing him,” Hannah said. “I always thought you were a slut.” “I ain’t screwing anyone,” Brian exclaimed. “If I was that’s really big news to me.” “What…” Valondra said trying so hard to control herself. “Where do you get off saying that?” “I thought you liked gay boy Nick?” Hannah asked and Nickolas looked at her in shock. “I ain’t gay,” Nickolas was quick to say and Valondra glanced at him. “I didn’t know you liked Brian,” Hannah continued. “I thought you couldn’t stand him. Or was that all just an act?” “You’re such a bitch,” Valondra said. “Well I guess that makes you Queen Bitch then,” Hannah said and Valondra slapped her across the face. “Get away from me now,” Valondra demanded. “Don’t even think about coming near me again.” She turned and went to walk away, as Hannah grabbed her arm and spun her around so they were face to face. Hannah slapped Valondra in return and with one powerful push she knocked her to the floor. Valondra fell to the floor and hit her head. At first Valondra didn’t know what was happening then realized what was going on. Hannah knelt beside her and went to hit her again, but Alexander grabbed her arm and pulled her away. “That wasn’t necessary,” Antoinette said. “Why the hell did you do it?” “Someone had to knock her down a few pegs,” Hannah said. “Just because she has money and shit doesn’t make her better than anyone else.” “That’s bullshit and you know it,” Valondra said from the floor. “I’m just going to go so you don’t have to see my face,” Hannah said. “Fine just go,” Ariel said. “I advise you not to come around for awhile until Loni cools down.” Hannah started walking to the door and stopped to look at Valondra. She gave a disgusted grin and walked out. “Are you all right, Loni?” Howard asked kneeling beside her, as the others did the same. “I think so,” Valondra replied. “But my head is killing me.” She tried to get up, but the pain was unbearable. She just laid back down and covered her eyes. “Do you want Nick to kiss it and make it better?” Ariel asked smiling. Valondra looked at her and then at Nickolas, who gave a little grin. She looked back at Ariel and said, “Sure, why not.” She began to laugh, as she tried to get up. Nickolas and Ariel helped her up and Nickolas kissed her forehead. “Thanks, but my head still hurts.” “Do you think you can stand up?” Farah asked. “You have to get cleaned up. You all look ridiculous.” “I just hit my head, Farah,” Valondra said. “I didn’t get cracked in the back or anything.” She chuckled and stood up with some help from Nickolas. She stood there a moment and then began to giggle, as the others just looked at her. “What’s so funny?” Brian asked. “That whole thing between me and Hannah was so stupid,” Valondra replied. “I think that all was a show. She was just showing off, but frankly, I don’t give a damn anymore. It’s her loss and not mine. Secondly, I’m not going out there looking like this. You two can, but I’m not.” “You girls can use the shower in the PS,” Kevin suggested. “We don’t mind at all.” “Lil and I will run to your houses and get you some new clothes,” Farah said. “Thanks,” Ariel said and Lillie and Farah walked out. “Come on, Ladies,” Kevin said escorting them to the elevator.
