*~The Dream Of A Lifetime~*Chapter 2 “So, Lon, you’re telling me that you met the Backstreet Boys on your way home from school? Yeah right. You expect me to believe that? I don’t think so.” “It’s true, Farah, I’ve got the tickets to prove it.” “Yeah and they all gave you a hug and kiss on the cheek, besides Nick who kissed you on the lips. I don’t think so.” “Fine don’t believe me. Just come on over to my house and I’ll call Hannah and Lillie to come over too and then we can go to the concert and you can meet the Boys.” She held the tickets between her fingers. “What do you say?” “Alright, but if I get over there and you have no tickets, I am going to kick some major ass. Do you understand me?” “I understand, but there is no need to kick ass.” “Right. I’ll be right over. You better have those tickets ready when I get there.” “They’re in my hand now.” She looked at them and smiled. “Alright.” “So I’m going to call Hannah and Lil right now.” “I’m going to go then and I’ll see ya when I get there. Bye.” “Bye.” Valondra hung up the phone and then waited a few seconds before dialing Lillie’s number. The phone rang three times before someone picked up. “Hello.” “Hello,” the person said. “Is Lillie there? This is Valondra.” “Yeah she is, hold on a moment.” Valondra waited patiently and heard Lillie’s big mouth in the background before she picked up. “Hello, what do you want?” “Can you come over to my place like right now? It’s really important.” “Yeah. Why?” “I’ll tell you when you get here, so hurry up.” “It sounds serious.” “It is.” “Alright, I’ll be right over.” “Thanks.” “Bye.” “Bye.” Valondra hung up and then called Hannah to tell her to hurry over. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * It was a half an hour later when everybody started to get there. Lillie was the first since she lived the closest to Valondra. Valondra told her what happened, but just like Farah, Lillie didn’t believe her. After Valondra showed her the tickets, Lillie started flipping out and screaming. When Valondra told her that Howard had kissed her cheek, Lillie became worse. Farah was walking up the walkway when she heard Lillie’s screaming. She figured Valondra told her what was going on and that Howard had kissed her cheek. Farah just walked into the house since no one would have heard her knocking. When she got to the kitchen, Lillie was walking around and throwing her hands in the air. “Goodness, Lillie,” Farah began sitting at the table, “get a hold of yourself. What is your problem?” “Loni just told me that Howie kissed her,” Lillie replied. “The little hussy. Do you believe that?” “Well sort of,” Farah replied. “Well I don’t believe it,” someone said walking in. “I’ll need proof of that one.” “Hey, Hannah,” the three girls said. “Hey,” Hannah said. “Now what’s going on?” “You guys know that none of us have the money to get tickets to the BSB concert tonight, right?” Valondra asked as they all nodded in agreement. “Well how do you guys explain these?” She pulled the tickets out of her back pocket and held them up. “Well?” “Ok,” Hannah said. “You’re parents probably got them for you,” Farah stated. “Yeah right,” Valondra said rolling her eyes. “The day my parents get me something that I actually want, especially concert tickets, is the day hell freezes over. That’s not going to be for a long time to come.” “Ok,” Lillie said. “You won them through a contest,” Hannah suggested. “I’ve never won a contest a day in my life,” Valondra said. “You guys have better luck than I do.” She smiled. “Well except for today luck was on my side.” “Ok,” Lillie said. “So maybe you did meet the Backstreet Boys,” Farah said. “I did,” Valondra said. “And they kissed my cheeks.” She put her fingers on her cheeks and smiled. “And they hugged me.” She continued smiling and they all just sat there thinking about what was just said. “Ok,” Hannah said. “Let’s just go to this concert and see if Loni’s telling the truth.” “Now why would I lie about something like this?” Valondra questioned. “Come on, I mean, it’s the Backstreet Boys. I might have lied to ya about a few things before, like ‘not dating’ Fox, but I would never lie to you about meeting them.” “I never understood why you lied about Fox,” Lillie said. “He’s, like, every girls fantasy and you had him for over two years.” “It was more fun denying it,” Valondra said smiling and thinking back. “Did you guys sleep together?” Farah asked. “No,” Valondra replied. “Ya’ll know I’m saving myself for marriage.” “Right,” Farah said. “So what time is this concert?” Hannah asked getting them back on track. “Sevenish,” Valondra stated. “But they are sending a limo at six to pick us up here take us to the concert in style.” They nodded. “They said they’ll be glad to meet you guys. What do you think about that? Pretty cool, huh?” “Well, all right,” Lillie said. “I want to ask Howie if he did kiss you.” “They all kissed me,” Valondra stated. “Besides, you wouldn’t be able to talk to him, because you’ll be lying on the floor in a pool of your own drool. Ya know what I’m saying? You all will be.” She laughed. “Let’s go get ready, because it’s going to take you guys awhile to get ready, especially Farah.” She smiled and they all walked out of the kitchen. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * The girls arrived at the concert hall and made there way up to the front gate. Valondra spotted one of the guards and walked over to him. He stood there with his arms crossed and just looked down at her. She smiled up at him and got the tickets out of her pocket and looked at him again. “I hope you don’t think I’m going to let you back there,” the guard said. “I don’t have to think it,” Valondra began, “because I know you’re going to let me.” “And why would I do that?” “Because I have these.” She held up the tickets. “I met the guys earlier today and they gave me these tickets. They told me to show them to you and you would leave me in.” He raised an eyebrow. “If you don’t believe me then go and ask them yourself. Tell them that Valondra Summers is here.” The guard gave a little grin and then got serious again saying, “Wait right here.” He turned to go inside. “What’s the name again?” “Valondra Summers.” He nodded and went inside. “You better not be bullshitting us,” Farah said and Valondra looked at her. “I mean it, Valondra. If you’re bullshitting us you’re getting your ass kicked by three very angry girls.” “I’m shaking in my little space boots,” Valondra said rolling her eyes and the door opened and they saw the guard. “I checked out your story and Mr. Littrell confirmed it for me,” the guard said and the three girls looked at Valondra. “You ladies may go inside. Mr. Littrell is waiting for you.” “Thank you, Tiny,” Valondra said giving the guard a nickname, as he left them inside. The four girls walked inside and they all spotted Brian right away, as he spotted them. “Loni,” Brian said walking over to them. “Hey,” Valondra said, as he hugged her. “Nice to see you again. “Nice to see you too,” Brian said. “Brian, I want you to meet Lillie, Hannah, and Farah,” Valondra replied. “Nice to meet you,” Brian said giving them each a hug. “The other guys are in by the stage if you want to follow me.” “Of course,” Valondra said following beside Brian, as he escorted the four girls to the stage. “Hey, guys!” Brian yelled from the top. “Look who’s here!” The other four guys looked up and they all smiled. Valondra followed Brian down to the stage while the other girls just stayed where they were looking. “It’s Loni.” “Hey,” the four guys said. “Hey,” Valondra said. “I want you to meet my friends…” She turned to look and noticed that Farah, Lillie, and Hannah weren’t beside her. She sighed and said, “These are my friends Lillie, Hannah, and Farah.” They laughed and they looked to the top. “Hey, guys, we’re down here!” The three girls stayed where they were and they started walking up. “I think they’re a little in shock since I was telling the truth.” “Don’t you tell the truth?” Kevin questioned. “Yes of course,” Valondra answered. “But I tend to lie about some things I don’t want anyone to know about.” “We all do,” Alexander said and Valondra smiled. “Farah,” Valondra said approaching her with the Boys. “I want you to meet the Backstreet Boys. This is Nick, Howie, Alex, Brian, and Kevin. Guys, this is Farah Brown.” “Hi,” the Boys said simultaneously, as Farah stared in amazement. “And that’s Lillie Jamison and Hannah Jones,” Valondra replied, as they both fell to the floor. Farah just continued staring, as her eyes went from Kevin to Alexander then back to Kevin. “K-K-Kevin Richardson,” Farah managed to get out, as Valondra knelt down beside her two friends. She slapped them across the face to wake them up. They both opened their eyes and Valondra said, “Told you guys I wasn’t lying. Told ya I’d meet them before you. Aren’t you jealous of me?” She smiled and helped Hannah and Lillie up off the floor. “So you were right,” Hannah said. “Hannah, Lillie, Farah,” Valondra began, “catch that drool at the side of your mouth before you make a flood.” “Guys, we’re ready to open the doors,” someone said approaching them. “It’s time to get backstage.” “We’ll see ya’s after the show,” Nickolas said giving Valondra a sexy smile. “Alright,” the girls said. “See ya then too.” “Nicky will definitely be seeing Loni after the show,” Howard said, as they began to walk and embarrassing Nickolas. Valondra and Nickolas just looked at each other and smiled until Nickolas was out of view.
