*~The Dream Of A Lifetime~*Sunday, June 7, 1998 “Hey, Loni,” Ariel said, as they sat in the Boys’ hotel room. “Are we still going to see the new Mark Wahlburg tonight?” “I can’t,” Valondra said. “My parents came home last night and they were bitching at me because I didn’t go home last night. They grounded me and now I have to house sit.” She gave a disgusted sigh. “Yeah, they ground me and shit and they left this morning for Colorado to go skiing and then from there they’re going back to Italy. What kind of shit is that? It pisses me off.” “Then you can still come,” Ariel said. “What are they going to know?” “They got Frannie to stay with me while they’re away,” Valondra said. “Then you can still come,” Ariel repeated. “She lets you do anything.” “Not anymore,” Valondra said. “They threatened to report her to the nanny board or whatever it is if she doesn’t do what they tell her to do.” “That’s got to suck,” Antoinette said. “Yeah,” Valondra said. “I’m seventeen and I got a fucking babysitter. I so can’t wait until my birthday.” They sat in silence a few minutes and then Valondra smiled. “What are you smiling at?” Lillie asked. “They said I couldn’t go out, but they didn’t say I couldn’t have friends over,” Valondra pointed out still smiling. “Do you guys want to come over? Do ya? Do ya? Do ya?” “And what are we going to do?” Farah asked. “Sit around and twiddle our thumbs.” “I have a big fucking house,” Valondra reminded her. “What the hell do you do in big houses?” “Par-tay,” Antoinette stated and Valondra nodded. “Exactly,” Ariel said. “It better not be a high society rich people party,” Farah said. “Or I ain’t going.” “It’ll be a teenager party,” Valondra said. “I’ll bring refreshments,” Antoinette said. “Alright,” Valondra agreed getting up. “Go out and spread the word. Party at Valondra’s at sundown.” “Wait a minute,” Lillie said. “What?” they all asked. “It’s Sunday,” Lillie pointed out. “Loni don’t party on Sunday’s.” “Right, damn,” Valondra said. “Then just make it a little get together for all of us.” “Sounds good,” they all agreed. “Party next weekend.” “We won’t be here,” Alexander said. “And whose fault is that?” Valondra asked. “Not mine.” She sat on the counter by Nickolas and no one said anything. Valondra and Nickolas looked at the others while they were all affectionate towards each other. They looked at each other and started laughing. “Kids.” “Oh like you two haven’t done anything yet,” Farah said. “No we haven’t,” Nickolas replied. “What about last night on the couch?” Hannah asked. “We just fell asleep watching TV,” Valondra answered. “Nothing happened.” “Give me a break,” Farah said. “We’re not together, Farah,” Valondra pointed out. “And we can control our hormones unlike some people in this room. Need I remind you that out of the six of us I am the only virgin?” They just looked at her. “Yeah I dated a few hotties in the past that I wouldn’t mind jumping, but I didn’t, because I knew it wasn’t going to last between us. Nick and I didn’t kiss and even if we did it wouldn’t be any of your business.” “Yeah right,” Farah said. “You guys did kiss. I remember you…” “We didn’t, Farah,” Valondra quickly interrupted and getting angry. “So sorry to disappoint you and you should really mind your own business.” “As I was saying before I was rudely interrupted,” Farah continued, “you said the first time you met Nick Carter the first thing you would is lay one on him.” “That was how long ago?” Valondra questioned and Nickolas looked at her. “I said a lot of things I haven’t done and we didn’t kiss. We’re just friends.” “Nicky ain’t saying anything,” Howard smirked. “Something must’ve happened.” “Nothing happened,” Valondra said. “Back me up here, Nick.” “She’s right,” Nickolas agreed. “Nothing happened.” “He only ever gave me a peck on the cheek and that was it,” Valondra stated and they all looked at them. “Nothing more and nothing less.” “When did I do that?” Nickolas wanted to know. “The day we ran into each other; when I was getting ready to leave.” “Right.” He picked her up off the counter and put her over his shoulder. “Put me the hell down.” She slapped his butt. “Your face got red as a tomato. It was priceless.” “Whatever.” “It did so.” “Did not.” “Did to.” “Not.” “Did it not, guys?” “Yes,” the four guys replied. “Did not,” Valondra continued to argue. “I believe so,” Nickolas smirked, as he touched her side. “Knock it and leave me alone,” Valondra said, as Nickolas tickled her. “Stop tickling me, Carter.” “What’s the matter?” Nickolas asked still tickling her. “Can’t you handle it?” “Nickolas Gene Carter, stop it right now,” Valondra said. “I think she means business now,” Brian said. “I can handle this little girl,” Nickolas stated. “I’d stop if I were you,” Lillie began, “she’s getting mad and I really don’t want to see her flip out on you.” “She won’t,” Nickolas said, as Ariel, Antoinette, Lillie, Hannah, and Farah just looked at each other. “Besides getting mad at you,” Lillie began trying not to laugh, “when she laughs it reminds you of a hyena.” “Knock it,” Valondra said starting to laugh. She started kicking her feet and got Nickolas between the legs. Nickolas went to the floor, almost dropping Valondra. She stopped herself from hitting the floor and everyone got quiet. Valondra knelt in front of him and said, “I’m so sorry, Nick.” “Ohhh!” was all that came out of Nickolas’ mouth, as Valondra just looked at him, as he held his crotch. “I’m really, really, really, really, really sorry, Nick,” Valondra apologized. “I didn’t mean to do that.” “I can’t believe you broke his balls,” Ariel said. Valondra made a disgusted face, as the others laughed and she said, “I don’t think they’re broke, Ariel. I didn’t hit him that hard.” “If he fell to the floor it must’ve been pretty hard,” Hannah stated. “You’re feet were really flying there,” Alexander said. “Quit making me feel worse than I already do,” Valondra said. “I’m so sorry, Nicky, ya have to believe me.” He just looked at her with pain in his eyes. They sat there looking at each other and then Valondra smiled. “I bet I can take his mind off the pain.” “How?” Howard asked just as Valondra kissed Nickolas. “Oh.” Nickolas kissed Valondra in return and the others shook their heads and went about their own business. After the kiss ended, Nickolas and Valondra just sat there and looked at each other a moment and then smiled. “Wow,” Valondra said smiling. “I kissed a lot, but I think that ones got to be the best. It was…wow.” “You’re telling me,” Nickolas agreed. “Yeah, that took my mind from the pain.” “I’m glad,” Valondra said. Nickolas just gave her his sexy side smile and got up. He helped her up and they just looked at each other a moment. “I’m really sorry about kicking you in the nuts. Am I forgiven?” “If I didn’t forgive you,” Nickolas began, “I wouldn’t have kissed you in return.” “Then thank you.” They both smiled and Nickolas kissed her again. “Fox isn’t going to kick the shit out of me for kissing his girl is he?” “If I was his girl he probably would, but I’m no one’s girl right now.” “Good then, because I can continue doing this…” He kissed her a third time and this one lasted longer. After the kiss was over they just looked at each other and smiled. They heard laughter and looked at the others, as they looked at them. “What?” Valondra asked. “Nothing,” Alexander replied. “Don’t mind us.” “Yeah,” Nickolas and Valondra said rolling their eyes. “Ya know, I never really seen Nicky kiss a girl,” Howard said. “Do you want to get out of here?” Valondra asked Nickolas. “Yeah sure,” Nickolas said. “Where to?” “The beach,” Valondra said walking to the door. “Sounds good,” Nickolas said. “Where are you going?” Ariel asked. “Why?” Valondra asked in return, as Nickolas opened the door. “Don’t mind our business and mind your own.” She walked out the door with Nickolas behind her. “I know what they’re going to do,” Ariel snickered. “They’re going to do some naughty things.” She laughed, as did the others.
