*~*The Dream Of A Lifetime*~*

Chapter 7

“Are you going to go talk to Loni?” Brian asked Nickolas as they walked to their buses.

“She doesn’t want to and I ain’t going to force her to,” Nickolas replied. “She’s deciding the fate of our relationship and I can’t do anything about it.”

“Yes you can.”

“Like what? I tried practically everything and got no where with her.”

“Put your foot down.”

“When I went to pick her up o told her to tell me or I was out the door and never coming back.” Brian looked at him.

“She chose the latter.”

“Maybe she’ll surprise ya and be on the bus ready to talk. Ready to spend the whole night having a conversation with you and not making out or whatever it is you two do.”

“I doubt it.” They stopped at their buses.

“No faith, Nickolas?”

“It’s running out. I love her so much, Rok, but I don’t know if I have enough faith in our relationship anymore.”

“Talk to your fiancée first before you decide. Go back to the house and get her. Throw her over your shoulder. Hog tie if that’s what’s got to be done. Make her listen to ya on how ya feel before she goes ahead and makes her final decisions.”

“She ain’t going to listen."

“If she loves you she will and I know she does.” Nickolas didn’t say anything. “Don’t ruin a good thing, Nickolas, because your fiancée is having some issues. I wouldn’t be surprised if most of it has to do with Bridgett Carpenter.” Nickolas looked at him again. “You and Loni were great until she showed up. Go get Lon and talk.”

“Alright, I’ll go get her.”

“Good. Now I’m going to go and see my beautiful Rachel and little Sunnie Snow.”

“Give her a kiss for me…and I mean the baby.”

“Gotcha.” Nickolas grinned and Brian got on his bus.

“Nothing’s forever, Brian.” Nickolas sighed and got on his own bus. “But my love for my Princess is.” He walked to the back of the bus and went to put his bag on the bed, but stopped. He saw Valondra lying there and just looked at her. He grinned and continued looking at her sleeping form. He put his bag on the floor and sat next to her. “I hope you’re hear to talk.”

He went for her hand, but stopped when she said, “I am.” She rolled onto her back and looked at him. “I’m being honest. I really want us to talk.”

“So do I.” She gave a little grin. “You know I do.”

“Yeah.”

“I love you and I want to be a part of all your problems.” She didn’t say anything. “I don’t care how horrible they are I just want to be a part of them. If you’ll let me.” The bus started moving.

“First your fans.”

“Huh?”

“They’re waiting to get a quick glimpse of their sexy crush.”

“Right.” He pulled her up and they walked to the front of the bus and saw all the fans waving. “My fan club.”

“I thought I was?”

“You’re part of the personal fan club. The again you’re the only member.” He smiled and so did she as he looked back at the fans and waved.

“Are ya hungry?” Nickolas asked.

“No,” Valondra said giving him a weird look. “Just asking.” He closed the door and sat beside her on the bed. “So…”

“So…” They looked at each other. “Are ya sure you want to talk and not sleep?”

“Yes; this is our future.”

“Alright.”

“I want ya to know that I love you and I always will no matter what.”

“You’re making it sound like I’m going to end up breaking your heart or something.”

“Ya never know.” She looked at him. “I know you wouldn’t do it on purpose though.”

“Never.”

“And I would never break your heart on purpose.” “Good.” He put his arm around her and kissed her forehead. “I was trying to think of a way to break your heart after you said about being happily married to someone else.”

“I was just upset and didn’t mean it.”

“I deserved it though for being a bitch.”

“You’re not a bitch.”

“Yes I am.”

“Then you’re my bitch.”

“You’re funny.” She sighed. “But let’s get serious.”

“Alright.”

“So you want to talk about what’s going on with me.”

“Yes.”

“Ok…um...” She took a deep breath and looked at Nickolas.

“We have all night so take your time.”

“Right.” She wondered where to begin then decided to start with the dream; the reason she was really there. “Ok. Alright. I’m going to start by telling you what really brought me here tonight.”

“And what’s that?”

“A dream I had.”

“A dream?”

“Yeah; well more of a nightmare actually.”

“Go on.”

“Well in my dream Alyssa was accusing me of pushing you back into the arms of Bridgett. I kept telling her I loved you and wanted you back and all this and that. Then I saw you and Bridgett together and it broke my heart.” He looked at her as she wiped her eyes. “Bridgett was then telling me that I’d never have you back and to deal with it. But of course I told her that she may have you and be in your bed but there was one thing she would never have and that’s your heart.” He nodded. “I then proceeded to tell her about the bond you and me share and how you’ll always love me.”

“Always.” He kissed her hand.

“As I was saying everything to her I could see the fiery flames of hell in her eyes and it scared me. Then all of a sudden she just came after me with a knife. You stood there and watched as we fought each other. As we were fighting Bridgett stabbed me in the chest and you didn’t care. You were more concerned about her being ok than me.” She tried holding back her tears, but they kept coming. “I told you I was sorry and you said it was too late. I even told you I loved you and you just said it wasn’t enough. Then you just walked away with Bridgett and left me there to die.” He hugged her.

“I would never do that and leave you to die. I love you so much, Princess, and I’d never go back to Bridgett.”

“It just felt so real and it scared me to death. I didn’t know what to think.”

“It’s all right, because it ain’t going to happen.”

“I knew then that I had to tell you, because what if it came true.”

“It’s not going to.”

“It just scared me so much.”

“Everything’s going to be fine. I promise.”

“God, I love you so much, Nicky.” She held onto him tighter. “I can’t see my future without you. Whether we’re married or not. I just want to spend my life with you.”

“And you will, Princess.” She continued crying. “Shh, it’s ok.”

“I hate her, Nick, and I want her to go away.”

“Who?”

“Bridgett; she’s done nothing, but make my life so miserable and unbearable. She doesn’t care and just sticks around.”

“Why don’t ya just start from the beginning, Baby, and we’ll go from there. I can only help if you start there.” She looked at him. “I don’t remember when you changed on me. Tell me when your change started.” She looked at him and he wiped her eyes.
