"Hey, Trix,” Nickolas said walking into the kitchen a few days after the tour ended. He got a bottle of water and looked back at Trixie. “Is Loni home yet?”

“She went outback,” Trixie replied.

“Is she ok?”

“You’re always so worried, Nickolas.”

He grinned and Trace said. “She looked a little upset over something. She didn’t say much so don’t ask.

“I wasn’t going to,” Nickolas said. “Do you know if she ate lunch?”

“No we don’t,” Trixie answered. “She came home and went outback.”

“Ok,” Nickolas said going outside.

“He worries too much about her,” Trixie stated.

“At least he cares,” Trace said.

“I guess so.”

“She could be with a guy that doesn’t.”

“True.”

“Or someone that beats her and is his personal whore.” Trixie looked at him. “And it’s a good thing she ain’t with anyone like that.”

“Yes it is. Nick treats her good.”

“Yeah he does.”

Trixie nodded. “If only I can find someone like that. Someone as sweet and caring for me as Nick is to Lon.”

“You will, but he won’t be exactly like Nick, because no two people are the same.”

“No shit.” They laughed. “I don’t want someone exactly like Nick anyway.”

“That’s good, because Lon might think ya want her man.”

“I don’t though.” They smiled. “What time is it?”

“Going on three.”

“I guess I should get ready for work.”

“What time do ya get off?”

“Nine.”

“Do you want to meet up at Tabu?”

“I guess so.”

“Ok.”

“What time?”

“Is ten good?”

“Yeah.”

“Alright.”

“Ok.”

“I guess I’ll see ya then.”

“Yep.”

“Ok.” Trixie smiled and Trace went upstairs.

“Hey, Princess,” Nickolas said sitting beside Valondra on the swing. She looked at him and he kissed her.

“Hi,” Valondra said.

“Everything ok?”

“Yeah.” She shrugged. “I don’t know.”

“What is it?”

“I took a pregnancy test yesterday, because I’ve been late.”

“Ok.” She handed him the pregnancy test and he took it. “Wha-What does plus mean?”

“It means positive, Nick.”

“Oh.”

She sighed. “I was hoping it was just a false alarm, ya know.” He nodded. “But I went to the doctor just in case and…” She took a deep breath. “And, um…”

“You are?” She nodded. “We’re pregnant?”

“Yeah.” She handed him the doctor’s papers.

“Um…wow!”

“Yeah.” They sat there in silence a few moments and Nickolas looked at the doctor’s papers. “I don’t know what to think or what to do.”

“Me either, Princess.”

“How are we going to…what are we going to…why are we…”

“Calm down, Princess. We’ll figure something out.”

“This wasn’t supposed to happen yet.”

“I know.”

“We’re not even married.”

“I know that.”

“It’s supposed to happen after we’re married for a while.”

“Everything’s going to be fine.”

“I can’t handle this right now.”

“We’ll work it out.”

“But we’re still young, Baby.”

“People our age are having kids everyday so it’s nothing new.” She didn’t say anything. “Our baby will be taken care of.”

“I ain’t worried about that. I just ain’t ready to be a mommy right now. I wanted to wait until we’re married.”

“I know, but just remember this baby was created out of love. If it wasn’t there would be no sense in having it.”

“I guess you’re right.”

“I am.” He kissed her and she took the water bottle from him. “We can do this.”

“I hope so.”

“Together we can do anything.” She grinned. “We made a baby after all.” He gave her a playful nudge and she smiled.

“You’re going to love this aren’t ya?”,/p>

“Uh…yeah I think so.”

“Of course.”

“You’re going to love watching me get fat and feeding my face all the time.”

“You’re going to be so cute.”

“Shut up.”,/p> He put his arms around her. “So when are we due?”

“In October sometime.”

He nodded. “According to the doc you’re two months along so therefore you’re be, like, six months in July.”

“Yeah.”

“So what do you want to do?” She looked at him. “Wait until the baby comes, get married earlier, or keep it the same?”

“I don’t know yet. Can we just talk about it later?”

“Sure.”

“I’m just trying to grasp on the whole pregnancy thing.”

“I guess it’s going to take some time.”

“Yeah.” He kissed her forehead and she laid her head down.
