*~The Dream Of A Lifetime~*

Chapter 10
Friday, November 2, 2001

Nickolas was still staying with the girls and was now home alone. He was watching TV and half asleep. He was still in pain and very agitated now. He wanted to be on tour with his Boys and on stage performing for the fans. He hated sitting around and doing nothing when there was something he could be doing. And that something was touring and performing.

And he was starving. He slowly got off the sofa and started to slowly make his way to the kitchen, not hearing a car pull in. He worked his way to the refrigerator and heard the door slam. Figuring it was either Charisma or Lillie he ignored it and went about his business.

He smiled a few seconds later when he heard Valondra’s voice, “Nick, where are ya?” He continued smiling. “Nick?” He looked as the kitchen door was pushed open. “There you are.” She walked over to him and gave him a kiss. “What are you doing?”

“Making me lunch.”

“You’re supposed to be resting.”

“I have to eat something, ya know. I can’t very well starve, ya know. What are you doing home anyway? You’re supposed to be working.”

“If I had a job.” He looked at her. “I got fired.”

“What for?”

“I don’t know. Mr. Nimzicky gave me my last check and said he was leaving me go.”

“I’m sorry, Princess.”

“It ain’t your fault.” He looked at her. “Unless you had a hand in getting me fired, because you want me to go on tour with you.”

“Of course not. I would never do that to you. It’s your decision to come.”

“Good.” They sat at the table. “Constance and Madeline quit after I was fired. They didn’t think it was right what he did. We were his only employees at the shop and now he’s alone.”

“You could sue him since he fired you without an explanation.”

“I could, but he’ll drag it on forever and I can’t afford a lawyer.”

“You can afford mine.” He smiled and took a bite of his food. “He’s stopping by tomorrow so talk to him then.”

“I don’t know.”

“Do it. How else are you going to finish paying for this place since you don’t get the rest of your movie money until after the movies finished?”

She shrugged. “Why else do you think I’m charging the girls and Fox rent?”

“You’re going to need more than two-hundred a month from each girl and Fox.” She shrugged again and took a bite of his sandwich. “You don’t have to actually kiss Timberlake in that movie, do ya?”

“Yeah.”

“Damn it! Why couldn’t I get the part?”

“Because you didn’t audition and Justin did.” She smirked.

“I should’ve.”

“How? You were in the middle of the tour.” She smiled again.

“Don’t get cute on me.” She continued smiling. “Anyway, you should really talk to Casey. He’s good and always wins.”

“You’re not going to give up until I say yes, are you?”

“Nope.” He smiled this time.

“Fine I’ll do it.”

“Good.” He slowly got up.

“Sit down and I’ll get it.” She quickly got up.

“I don’t think you can go to the bathroom for me, Princess.”

“Then let me help ya to the bathroom.”

“I can manage.” She watched him walk by her and to the doorway. He stopped and looked at her. “You can hold it for me if ya want to.” He smiled. “I don’t mind.”

“Get in that bathroom before I kick your ass in there.”

“Yes, ma’am.” He walked out of the kitchen and

Valondra sat back down after getting the chips. She started to think, but stopped when she heard Nickolas yell, “Lon!” She jumped up.

“Nick!” She ran from the kitchen to the bathroom and threw open the door. “What’s wrong? What happened?”

“I’m fine.”

“Then why…”

“I wanted to see how fast you’d come running. That didn’t even take five seconds.”

“I thought something happened to you.”

“My zipper’s stuck if that matters any.”

“I hope it got stuck on your dick.”

“That’s mean.”

“I almost had a heart attack if that matters any.” “I’m sorry.” He pulled her to him and gave her a kiss. “Forgive me.”

“I do.” She smiled and sat on the toilet. “Let me see that zipper.” Nickolas smiled and stood in front of her. “Don’t get any idea’s either.”

“What?” She only shook her head and worked on the zipper.

A minute went by, with no luck, and she asked, “What the hell were you doing?”

“Nothing, just trying to zip up my pants.” She looked at him and raised an eyebrow. “You’re something. I have to satisfy myself since you won’t, ya know.” She grinned and pinched him. “Ow, woman!”

“You don’t satisfy me so why should I satisfy you.”

“So what you’re saying is that if I start satisfying you you’ll start satisfying me.”

“Something like that.” She smirked.

“I think it can be arranged.” Valondra just shook her head. “It’s been three years and you hardly ever let me touch you.”

“I never said you couldn’t, Carter; you just chose not to.” She got his zipper unstuck and looked at him. “I thought you found me repulsive or something.”

“Never.” He smiled. “Do you have any idea how excited I am?”

“I can tell so put it down.” She zipped up his pants.

“Or what?” She looked at him and he pulled her up. “What are you going to do?” He kissed her and moved down to her neck.

“Nicky.”

“What?”

“We shouldn’t be doing this.”

“Why not?”

“You’re hurt.”

“I can still be with my fiancée.” He put her against the wall.

“I don’t want to hurt you.”

“You won’t.” He smiled and kissed her again. She pushed him over to the toilet and he sat down. He made her straddle him and kissed her neck. “You could never hurt me.” He took her mouth in a kiss and his hands found the buttons on her blouse. He undid them all and moved his kisses down to her chest. She held him to her and entangled her fingers in his hair.

“Nickolas…” she whispered.

“Valondra,” he whispered in return and found her lips again. He took a hand up her leg and underneath her skirt. He worked it inside her panties and started massaging her. She moaned into his mouth, but he stopped a moment later.

“Don’t.”

“What?”

“Don’t stop. Keep going.” He kissed her and started massaging her again. “Mmm…that feels good, Baby.”

“I got more than that.” She smiled and rolled her hips against his hand. “Perhaps you would be more comfortable lying down.”

“This is fine.” He smiled this time and kissed her.

“Anyone home?” a voice interrupted.

“Damn it,” Nickolas said.

“Fuck,” Valondra moaned disgustedly, as they stopped what they were doing. “It’s Justin. He’s probably looking for Toni. I’ll get rid of him.” She got off of Nickolas and rebuttoned her shirt. She kissed Nickolas and walked from the bathroom and saw Justin walking through the parlor. “Uh, hey.”

“Hey,” Justin said.

“What are you doing here?”

“Came for Toni.”

“I don’t think she’s here. I just got home a little while ago. I’ll go ask Nick.”

“She ain’t here,” Nickolas said joining them. “I believe she was called into work, because she had her uniform on.”

“Oh,” Justin said. “We had dinner plans at two.”

“Sorry, man,” Nickolas said.

“She probably forgot,” Valondra said. “And, Nick, you got a doctors appointment at two.”

“I was hoping you forgot about it,” Nickolas said.

“Never. Let me go change then we can go.”

“But I like what you got on now.”

“Yeah, but I’m still changing. I need my jeans.”

“Fine.” He watched her go upstairs. “I have to finish my lunch two!” He turned to go back to the kitchen.

“Are you feeling any better?” Justin asked following behind him.

“A little. Lon’s been great though. She doesn’t let it bring her down any. She’s making me feel better quicker, ya know. I don’t mind being waited on, but I think Lon’s getting sick of it.” They laughed and Nickolas sat down.

“I’d be ripping my hair out right now.”

“Believe me I am ready to. I want to be on stage performing and not sitting around doing nothing. I’ve become very agitated this past week. But still I can’t complain, because I got Loni, ya know. I think if I didn’t have her here with me I would’ve gone nuts by now, ya know.” Justin nodded. “Being hurt is a pain, but Lon makes it go a hell of lot smoother.”

“You’re really crazy about her, aren’t ya?”

“Yeah I am. I’m happy she’s in my life and I’m happy we’re getting married. I’m glad we worked out the whole Bridgett thing, ya know. For the first time, since I’ve been with Lon, I was afraid of actually losing her. I love her more than anything in the world, ya know, and I believe a future without her isn’t a future at all, ya know.” Justin nodded. “That’s how I feel about Toni.”

“Hey, boys,” Valondra said stepping into the kitchen and they looked.

“Ooh, Princess, that outfit is very becoming on you,” Nickolas said and she just shook her head and walked to the sink.

“If I said stuff like that to Toni she’d punch me in the mouth,” Justin stated. “She did it once already.”

“I’ve learned to ignore Nick when he talks dirty,” Valondra said grinning and putting something in her mouth.

“Now what are you popping?” Nickolas wanted to know.

“A painkiller and before you get all rowled up, I haven’t had any since Saturday. I wanted to see how long I could live with the pain.”

“I wasn’t going to say anything.”

“Whatever. I know you.”

“Do you see the abuse I get from her?”

“It’s a shame,” Justin said.

“Nick, finish eating so we can go,” Valondra ordered.

“Ok, sheesh,” Nickolas said.

“I’m going to go surprise, Toni at the airport,” Justin said. “I’ll see ya’s later.”

“Later,” Valondra and Nickolas said and Justin walked out.

Valondra looked at Nickolas and saw he was looking at her and she said, “Eat and stop staring at me.”

“Sorry,” Nickolas said smiling and Valondra rolled her eyes while walking out.
