*~The Dream Of A Lifetime~*“Ain’t it great to be home,” Lillie asked Howard, at the French restaurant they were sitting at. Howard made dinner plans for him and Lillie when they were back in Georgia. He didn’t tell Lillie and instead he decided to surprise her with a nice dinner for two the first night they had a chance to be together. “Yeah,” Howard said. “At least I can spend it with you, my beautiful flower.” “That was really corny,” Lillie stated not trying to laugh. “I’m real sorry, but it was. You’re trying too hard to impress me and you don’t have to.” “Well,” Howard began, “I’m trying to make up for the last couple of days. You know… the way I’ve been ignoring you.” “Why was that?” “I just had a lot on my mind and I was exhausted from the tour.” He sighed and moved his seat closer to her and took his hand. “I don’t want to talk about it though, because I think I have it all figured out.” “Really.” She put her other hand over his. “Then tonight is going to be nothing but you and me.” “Fine with me.” He leaned over and kissed her and the band started to play. “Shall we dance?” “I think we shall.” Howard got up and held out his hand. “My Lady.” Lillie smiled and put her hand in his and got up. They walked to the dance floor and started dancing with the other couples. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Antoinette and Justin were sitting in the local ice cream parlor having a great time trying all the different flavors. They stopped there after seeing the new action flick Antoinette couldn’t wait to see. Justin picked the ice cream parlor since Antoinette picked the movie they saw. They had a scoop of each flavor and were now on there last scoop. Justin was eating Fudge Ripple and Antoinette was eating Chocolate Peanut Butter. “This is the best ice cream in Orlando,” Justin said and Antoinette looked at him. “This is really good actually,” Antoinette agreed. “My grandfather owns an ice cream store and it’s all homemade. Maybe I can take ya there sometime.” “Maybe,” Justin said. “Do you want to get out of here?” “Yeah sure.” They both got up and walked from the ice cream parlor. They walked for a couple minutes and Justin asked, “Do you want to try this?” They stopped walking and Antoinette looked at him. “Come on go ahead.” He stuck some ice cream on his spoon and held it for her to taste it. She just looked at him and then tasted the ice cream. “How is it?” “It’s great.” She put ice cream on her spoon and held it up. “Try some of mine now. It’s even better.” He took a hold of her hand and brought the spoon to his mouth and tasted the ice cream. “Delicious.” He moved closer to her. “But now how do you taste?” Antoinette just looked at him not saying anything, as they both moved in for their first kiss. It lasted about a minute and Antoinette just continued looking at him. Justin moved in for another kiss and the kiss said it all. Rachel and Brian were sitting on Brian’s front porch enjoying the night and each others company. They were just sitting there for the past hour just talking and making plans for their wedding that no one knew about except for their parents. They would all find out in a day or two when they read it in the paper. “Brian, are you sure you want the whole world to know about our engagement right now?” Rachel asked laying her head on his shoulder. “Don’t you think it’s too soon?” “Like I said,” Brian began, “I want the whole world to know how much we’re in love. These are the moments that should be shared with everyone anyway. You’re not having second thoughts are you?” “No, not at all, but what if your fans try to really hurt me if they see me on the streets or something?” “If they really love me that much then they won’t try to hurt you.” He kissed her. “I hope you’re right.” “Just remember how much I love you.” “I love you even more.” They kissed again. “What do you say about a little night swimming?” She smiled. “I’m all for it. Which do you prefer though, clothes or no clothes?” “Brian Thomas! How could you ask me that when you know the answer is clothes…to start off with?” “I love it when you talk dirty.” “Good.” She kissed him. “I’ll race ya.” Rachel got up and ran into the house. “Not if I get to ya first.” He got up and walked into the house after Rachel. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * “So when’s our wedding?” Jonathan asked Ariel, as they sat with Alexander and Kevin who were dateless for the evening. They all sat at Alexander’s getting ready to watch ‘Austin Powers’, Ariel’s choice. “Why is it up to me to pick the date?” Ariel asked, as she sat down. “You’re getting married too.” “Yeah, to the most beautiful lady in the world,” Jonathan replied. “Thank you,” Ariel said kissing him. “Hey, none of that in my place,” Alexander interrupted their kiss. “Unless it’s me that’s doing it of course.” “So when’s the wedding?” Kevin asked. “I was thinking New Year’s day,” Ariel answered his question. “That way we can be the first couple to get married in the New Year. And it’d be a great way to ring in the New Year, ya know.” “That’d be cool,” Jonathan agreed. Any day you decide is fine with me.” “We’ll let ya know,” Ariel said, as the movie began. “This is one of the best movies. Loni and I always recite lines from it. It’s fun.” “I’m sure it is,” Alexander said sarcastically. “Shut up, Alex,” Ariel warned glaring at him “You’re interrupting the movie.” “Ariel, calm down,” Kevin said. “It’s only the previews.” “Hey, where’s the food?” Ariel asked. “Ya know, popcorn, chips, sodie pop, cookies, etc., etc.” “If I get it will you be quiet?” Alexander asked. “Maybe,” Ariel said, as Alexander got up and Kevin followed him. “Don’t forget the dip for the chips.” “ Yeah, yeah,” Alexander yelled back, as Jonathan stuck his arm around Ariel and she kissed him. After about five minutes Alexander and Kevin walked back into the parlor to find Ariel and Jonathan still kissing. “What did I say before?” He set the food down. “Do I have to separate you two?” “Sorry,” Jonathan said, as Kevin sat down laughing. “We’ll watch the movie.” “I’ll be keeping my eye on the both of you,” Alexander assured them. “Sure ya will,” Ariel said rolling her eyes, as the movie began.
