Have you heard anything? Pete thinks Dad is behind the rumor going around out here.

Kaci goes online to see if she can figure the rumor’s origin out while Pete gets ready for his rehearsal for tomorrow night before getting ready herself.
“Hey J,” Kaci says answering her phone when Justin calls her fifteen minutes later.
“So it wasn’t Alex?”
“That’s what he said. He looked me in the eye and told me that. And you know when he is bullshitting, he can’t look you in the eye.”
“The only thing I know is that dad found pictures on the internet of you and Alex and he was pissed, like I already told you. Him and mom left like a half hour after that and they haven’t come home yet.”
“Where the hell did they go?”
“I have no idea. Jackie’s parents came over, I guess they went to dinner or something with them.”
“Alright, please try and find something out. Go through dad’s stuff if you have to. Just keep me updated.”
“Where are you going to be tonight?”
“Pete has rehearsals for the show tomorrow, so we’re getting ready to go to that.”
“Is the rehearsal at the venue or a warehouse?”
“I would guess a warehouse because the release party is at Key Club. But I have no idea, honestly.”
“Hold on, let me find out.”
“Call me back when you find out, I’m going to go get dressed.”
“Alright, I’ll call you right back.”
Justin hangs up with Kaci and calls the Key Club.
“Key Club.”
“What time do you open tonight?”
“I’m sorry sir, we are closed tonight for a private party.”
“May I ask if it is for the Fall Out Boy album release party?”
“No sir, that is tomorrow night, do you wish to buy advance tickets?”
“No, I’m actually trying to figure out whether the rehearsal for Fall Out Boy is going to be there at the Key Club or at a warehouse. I’m trying to find out where my sister will be tonight, she’s visiting Pete Wentz and I can’t get a hold of either of them.”
“I’m sorry sir, but I don’t know.”
“Okay, well, thank you anyways.”
Justin hangs up with the girl from the Key Club and calls Kaci back.
“That got me nowhere,” Justin says when Kaci answers her phone.
“What do you mean?”
“The girl was nice, but she said she couldn’t give me any information. The only thing I found out was that the Key Club is closed tonight and tomorrow, but she wanted to sell me tickets to the party tomorrow when I said I was calling about Fall Out Boy.”
“Hold on, talk to Pete,” Kaci says handing her phone to Pete. “It’s Justin.”
“Hey, what’s up? You find out anything?”
“No. Where is this rehearsal tonight?”
“At the venue, why?”
“Jess was wondering and so was I, incase I find out something and needed to get in touch with her.”
“Texting her would be the best thing to do tonight. It’s a full rehearsal, so it’s going to be pretty loud in there.”
“Alright, if I find anything out, I will let you guys know. Have fun tonight, I’ll be in touch.”
Pete and Justin hang up and Pete goes to check on Kaci.
“I see you found some Clandestine clothes to wear,” Pete says walking into his bedroom.
“Hey, they’re comfy! But seriously, I need my own clothes!”
“Well, I’ll take you shopping tomorrow so you can get some clothes for tomorrow night.”
“Is it red carpet tomorrow?”
“Yup! There might be people there tonight, so be prepared, just in case.”
“Alright, well, give me a few minutes and I’ll be ready to leave.”
“I’ll be in the living room. We’ll go grab something to eat before heading to the Key Club.”
Pete leaves his bedroom and goes into the room he was in when he was working on his project for Kaci.
“I like the way you did this man,” Pete says to Travis when he answers his phone.
“So, what did she think?”
“About that,” Pete says, hesitating to tell Travis. “She, um, hasn’t seen it yet. I’m waiting for her to get dressed to go to the rehearsal tonight. Shit came up and I didn’t get a chance yet.”
“Shit with that other guy?”
“Yeah, but I went shopping while I was waiting for her to handle her business.”
“Shopping for what?”
“SHOPPING!” Pete says hoping Travis would get the hint, incase Kaci could overhear him.
“For a ring?” Travis questions Pete.
“Yes.”
“Naw! You aren’t going to…”
“Not at this moment. But I just know it will happen this time,” Pete says.
“Well, when?”
“Can’t say,” Pete says noticing the door cracked open.
“Why not?”
“Gotta go, I’ll talk to you later,” Pete says hanging up on Travis.
“Who was that?” Kaci says walking into the room.
“Travis,” Pete says realizing now that Kaci has seen the room, now would be as good of a time as ever to do it.
“What do you have up your sleeve?” Kaci says noticing the room.
“Well, before all the hoopla happened earlier, I was planning a little something,” Pete says. “I’m the only one who knows that you broke up with Jose, and not that I’m swooping in to take his place, but I would love it if you would be my girlfriend again.”
“I already said I would be silly!”
“I know, but right now, I’m being serious, official even.”
“Okay, so this is my official, serious answer.”
Pete can’t contain his excitement and passionately kisses Kaci to celebrate them becoming a couple again.
“Ugh, we have to leave,” Pete says after reluctantly pulling away from the kiss.
“We can continue this later, it’s not like I am going to go anywhere.”
“Not until Sunday night at least, right?”
“I think I should call him to find out when I need to be at his house.”
“How about texting him to ask?”
“Whatever, as long as I know what the deal is for getting back to Florida!”
“Well, do it in the car, we need to get going,” Pete says grabbing Kaci by the waist and walking out the bedroom with her.
Kaci and Pete leave his house and head to the Key Club for Pete’s rehearsal with the rest of the group for tomorrow’s Album Release Party performance.
“Jess, this is Ashleigh,” Pete says introducing Kaci to Patrick’s girlfriend.
“Hi, nice to meet you,” Kaci says extending her hand to Ashleigh.
“You too,” says Ashleigh, returning Kaci’s handshake.
“I’m gonna go get ready, you two get to know each other,” Pete says.
Pete gives Ashleigh a hug and gives Kaci a hug and kiss and leaves the two alone to get to know each other before rehearsal starts.
“So,” Ashleigh says. “How do you know Pete?”
“We grew up together and dated in high school,” Kaci responds, not thinking anything of it.
“Oh,” Ashleigh says hesitantly.
“Why do you say it like that?”
“Because the last girl he was with was a total bitch and liked him because he was in a band.”
“Oh no, I could care less. I have my own life and career, I just care about him doing what he loves to do.”
“Yeah,” Ashleigh says with a smile.
“You don’t have to worry about looking out for Pete when it comes to me hun, because believe me, I would cut the first bitch that tries anything with him!”
“Are you going to be going on the tour?” Ashleigh asks, opening up to Kaci.
“Some of it. I have other things back at home that I need to take care of.”
“Oh,” Ashleigh says disappointed.
“Why do you sound disappointed?”
“Because if you go on the tour, then I would have someone to hang out with while they do their tour stuff.”
“Oh,” Kaci says laughing. “Yeah, I know how that is,” Kaci says.
“What do you mean?”
“I’ve been on tours before. If you have no one to hang out with while the band is doing interviews and things, it becomes quite lonely and not as fun as it could be.”
“Who did you tour with?”
“I’ve toured with the Backstreet Boys, Nick Carter, Vi3, Frankie J, not that I’m name-dropping or anything.”
“Oh no, not at all. You know Nick?”
“Yeah,” Kaci says laughing. “He’s like my best friend!”
“That’s cool. I like his music.”
“Yeah,” Kaci says. “I tease him about the unreleased songs he has from his album. He hates when I do that.”
“My favorite is Scandalicious.”
“Oh my lord!”
“What?”
“That’s the song that I tease the crap out of him about!”
“I see you two are getting along pretty well,” Pete says coming over to Kaci and Ashleigh with Patrick in tow.
“Why wouldn’t we be getting along?” Ashleigh asks.
“Because this one,” Pete says grabbing Kaci by her waist, “doesn’t usually get along with other girls.”
“I don’t blame her! Females can be rude!” Ashleigh says.
“Thank you!”
“We’re going to go rehearse now, so we came to get you two,” Patrick informs the two girls.
“This better be good, I didn’t wait this long to see some crappy show!” Kaci jokes.
