Chapter 1

She thought it was a stupid idea. Going to clubs to find celebrities, then offering to have sex with them and seeing what you could get out of them. But then again Ernelle wasn’t that bright of a person. Every week she had some new scheme of how to become famous, or rich. Regina was only friends with her because they were roommates and had known each other since middle school. They weren’t exactly on good terms, Ernelle had stolen Regina’s last boyfriend and though she’d said she had forgiven her, Regina was just too tired to keep up the grudge.

It was after a long week of work and classes at the local community college when Ernelle concocted her scheme. Usually on Friday nights Regina would go out with Ernelle to one of the little local clubs and just hang out with the usual gang of friends. Have a few drinks, dance a little and maybe play some pool. But now, Ernelle was bored with that, she wanted a little more action.

It was near seven o’clock when Regina got home from her last class. Ernelle was in her bedroom getting ready to go out to their first real club.

“Yo Regina, let me borrow your denim mini!” Ernelle called as Regina clattered in the door dropping her stack of books and keys when Ernelle scared her.

“Yeah, sure, whatever you want, it’s in my closet.” Regina replied stooping to pick up her things.

“Boy girl, why don’t you just skip your class on Friday nights, you ain’t gonna have any time to get ready.” Ernelle said stomping out of her room clad only in her black tube top, stockings and underwear and going into Regina’s room. Regina followed her in, dropping her books on her desk and sitting down in her computer chair.

“Hey, mind if I borrow your black spikes too?” Ernelle asked as she pulled open the closet door.

“Help yourself to anything in my closet.” Regina replied grabbing her mail from the corner of the desk. Ernelle usually picked up the mail and left Regina’s on her desk, this was one thing she was always good about.

“Come on girl, look at your mail later, get ready so we can nail us some celebrity ass!” Ernelle shrieked knocking Regina’s mail right out of her hand. Regina huffed but didn’t reach for her mail. She looked up and saw that Ernelle had found her skirt and shoes and was already trying both of them on.

“Damn I love these heels, if these don’t get me something, nothing will!” Ernelle smiled strutting a few steps in the heels.

“What is the matter with you Regina? Come on, get on your hot jeans and your sleaze top, I’ll do your hair and makeup for you.” Ernelle was a little friendlier than usual, and quite sincere as well.

“Benny told me he was screwing around with Jen again, and he’s gonna go be with her.” Regina replied lifting her head from below her shoulders.

“Oh, I’m sorry baby, but look at it this way, you’ll be free and clear to do who or whatever you want. Hey, I got this brand new outfit, I was saving it for your birthday, but I think you need it now.” Ernelle said running to her room.

“Oh Ernie, you didn’t have to do that,” Regina said, feeling bad that she’d been so angry with Ernelle before.

“Nah, it’s no problem, you need to look hot tonight, not that you don’t look hot all the time, but you need a confidence boost so you can find the man of your dreams tonight, and hopefully he’ll be a rich and famous actor, singer or even a dancer.” Ernelle replied doing a little dance as she handed Regina a hot pink bag.

“Ernie, this is so sweet of you.” Regina replied smiling and pulling the contents out of the bag. It was a beautiful purple wrap around shirt with long flowing sleeves, a knee-length black jean skirt, a pair of knee high black heeled boots and matching jewelry.

“I love it, it’s absolutely gorgeous, thank you Ernie.” Regina said hugging Ernie and laughing. “No problem girl, just put it on and lets get ready to have some fun.”

Regina changed, Ernelle fixed her hair and makeup and they hurried downstairs to meet the rest of their friends who were coming to the club with them. While Regina was glad to be getting out the apartment, she still felt like just staying home and going to bed. It had been a long week, not to mention a long day, and Benny, on top of everything was the last straw.

It was too late now though. At least after a couple of drinks she’d not worry about that as much and just try to have fun.

They caught a cab and got out at the Soda Bowl, a club a few of Ernelle’s trendy friends recommended. It couldn’t have been that trendy because they got in very quickly and it wasn’t that happening of a place. It was a typical club, nothing special, but it was nice enough.

The girls went up to the bar and ordered a few drinks. They sat back and watched the club fill up after a while and noticed some celebrity faces.

“Oh my god, that’s Vin Diesel!” Ernelle squealed pointing to the door, and sure enough the tall bald headed muscled man was parting the crowds.

“I’m going after him, how do I look?” Ernelle asked compulsively fixing her hair.

“You look great.” Regina smiled sipping at her drink. Ernelle wiggled her eyebrows and took off through the crowd.

Apparently Ernelle had hit it off with Vin because an hour later she still wasn’t back. Their other friends were chilling with their boyfriends and Regina always felt like a fifth wheel with them. She wasn’t having any fun. Deciding she’d be more comfortable at home she started to look for Ernelle to tell her she was leaving.

Finally she found Ernelle snuggling up against Vin in a corner booth, talking and laughing, looking rather comfortable. She spotted Regina coming through the crowd and waved her over.

“Vin, this is the girl I was telling you about, Regina, this is Vin, Vin this is Regina.” Ernelle said.

“Hey, nice to meet you girl,” Vin said holding out his hand, Regina shook it and returned the greeting.

“Sorry to but in, but Ernie, I’m gonna get going, I’m not really in the mood to be out tonight. I’m just gonna grab a cab home and I’ll see you later.” Regina said.

“Oh come on Reggie, is this about Ben? Just stay out and have some fun.” Ernelle replied frowning slightly.

“Yeah, you could hang out with us, I’ll introduce you to some of my friends,” Vin said smiling up at her.

“That’s real nice of you, but really, I’d rather just go home.” Regina replied but Vin was already calling over one of his friends.

“Yo Em, come here a second.” Vin called and a tall guy wearing baggy jeans and a white T-shirt.

“Yeah, what’s up V?” he asked coming over to the table.

“I want you to meet somebody. This is Regina, a friend of Ernelle’s, Regina, this is Eminem. Go on slugger, show her a good time, she’s had a bad day.” Vin replied.

“Hey, it’s nice to meet you, but I got to get out of here.” Regina said nodding at the guy. She waved to Ernelle and Vin and hurried outside to hail a cab. She got a cab quickly but there was a load of traffic on the end of the street he tried to get out of. A major accident had clogged the road. They waited almost ten minutes before the police told him he had to turn around.

Regina was so glad when she finally got home forty-five minutes later. That stupid cabby, missed one road, got lost and then took the wrong street anyway. To top it off he charged her for the full fair.

She unlocked the door to the building and climbed the stairs to her apartment. She unlocked the door and closed it snuggly behind her, dead bolting it and putting on the chain. She breathed a sigh of relief and went to the kitchen to grab a drink before going to her room.

She usually liked hanging out with Ernelle, despite the things she had done to her, but tonight, she just wasn’t in the mood to party. She felt much better now that she was at home.

“You rushed off pretty damn quick,” a low voice said from the living room. Regina stiffened up and grabbed a knife out of the kitchen sink.

“I’ve got a knife, so you better get the hell out.” Regina said shaking and edging towards the light switch. She hadn’t thought to flip the lights in the kitchen on because the light over the sink was on, and she planned on going right to bed. It was dark enough in the living room that she couldn’t see who was speaking.

“You can’t even take five minutes to talk to me?” the voice asked as the lights in the living room flipped on. Regina saw who was sitting on the couch, it was the guy from the club, it was Eminem.

“What the hell are you doing in my apartment?” Regina asked not loosening her grip on the knife.

“Your friend Ernelle said you needed company, gave me your address, and her key, look, I didn’t break in,” he said throwing the key out on the coffee table. She sighed relieved, so this was Ernelle’s idea.

“You scared the crap out of me.” Regina said dropping the knife back into the sink.

“What’d you rush off for?” he asked.

“Because I wanted to come home, that’s all. But why did you follow me?” Regina asked walking back out to the living room.

“Cause your friend Ernelle asked me to.” He replied. He looked quite comfortable, leaning back and putting his feet up on the table.

“But why would you follow me home?” Regina asked again.

“What does it matter to you?” he asked sitting up and pulling his feet down off the table.

“Because I usually don’t encourage having Ernelle send strange men to our apartment.” Regina replied annoyed.

“You know who I am,” he said raising an eyebrow and pushing himself up off the couch. He walked slowly to the kitchen.

“Yeah, you’re Eminem,” Regina replied crossing her arms and leaning against the counter.

“So you know me.” He replied stepping into the kitchen. He was getting dangerously close to her now.

“I know of you, I don’t know you.” She replied as he smiled.

“Why not? Same thing isn’t it?” he was standing directly in front of her now.

“I don’t think so, what are you doing?” Regina said as she felt a hand on her hip.

“Just making sure you have a good time is all,” he replied smiling wickedly.

“Look, I don’t know what Ernelle told you, but I won’t sleep with you.” Regina replied plucking his hand off her side.

“She didn’t say you would sleep with me, she just said to make sure you had a good time. What do you consider a good time then?” he asked, refusing to move. He placed one hand on each side of her, leaning against the counter and knocking her knee with his.

“I don’t consider having sex with a man, I do not know, a good time, so if you don’t mind, back, up.” Regina replied sternly. “Just lighten up already.” He said, still not moving.

“I don’t want to lighten up, just get off of me.” Regina said trying to push to the side and away from him.

“Come on, when was the last time you kissed a stranger?” he asked.

“Never, I don’t kiss strangers.” Regina replied with a huff.

“Make an exception, you won’t regret it.” Regina could only laugh. She couldn’t believe what was happening. Right now, standing in her kitchen was Eminem, trying to make a move on her. She felt like she was in some teenager's ridiculous fan fiction.

“Look, Slim Shady, you can go now, this has been plenty enough of a good time, you’ve done your duty, you can go now.” Regina replied while he just starred at her.

“Come on, really, just get out of here, I got to,” He didn’t listen to what she had to say, he did as he wanted. His tongue was in her mouth, swirling around hers and forcing itself around her mouth. His lips were rough and chapped against hers, dry from the lipstick she’d put on earlier. His tongue poked out and wet their lips. His fingers forcibly found her hips and squeezed them tightly.

“All right, you had your fun, now you can leave.” Regina said putting a hand on his chest and pushing him firmly away from her.

“Aww come on, don’t tell me you didn’t enjoy that?” he asked, just a little too sure of himself.

“Don’t you have some groupie to be screwing or something?” She asked as he tried to pick her up by the waist. She grabbed his hands and they spent a few minutes struggling for control, but he was a lot taller and heavier than she was, he won. His victory left her sitting on the counter, starring at him, his hands resting on her knees.

“No, not at this moment I don’t. Jesus Christ girl, don’t you ever just relax?” he asked.

“I don’t find sitting on my counter, with a guy I don’t know, trying to pry my legs apart, relaxing. Now if you will excuse me.” Regina replied forcing his hands off her legs and jumping down off the counter.

“You still hung up on that guy?” he asked as he followed Regina out of the kitchen.

“What concern is it of yours? And man, are you that desperate to get some ass? Cause following me around ain’t gonna get you some!” Regina asked as he sat down on the couch beside her.

“Did you ever think that maybe I just wanted to find out what kind of bitch you were?” he asked leaning back again, making himself comfortable.

“Eminem doesn’t want to just get to know someone, especially someone he’s only met.” Regina replied.

“I thought you said you didn’t know me?” he asked with a raised eyebrow. Regina thought about it for a minute, and turned to look at him.

“I guess you’re right.” She replied wondering at her own mistake.

“But don’t you start calling me bitch. I’m not going to be a whore.” She replied turning her whole body around. He scooted closer to her on the couch.

“All right, Regina, what say we get to know each other better, huh? You come over here in my lap, and we’ll get a little friendly.” He said touching her arm.

“What say you stop touching me and get up off the couch, then, leave?” she asked looking directly into his eyes, trying to ignore his hand running down her arm. God, he had nice hands, she thought to herself.

“Why don’t you just admit that you wanna fuck and get off your high horse?” he said, as his other hand touched her knee and moved slowly up her leg. Why was she responding this way? Why was she thinking of actually going to bed with him?

Images flashed through her head. Hands gripping at the sheets. Lips grinding onto hers. A man’s chest heaving in front of her. Legs tangled in sheets.

What would be so wrong with having a one-night stand with this guy? What would be the problem? She’d see him once and then never again. She hadn’t had sex in over six months. His proposition was starting to sound pretty nice.

She snapped back to her senses only after he’d pulled her legs across his lap and his lips were busy chewing on her neck. She snapped back so suddenly, her legs gave a jolt and she nearly jumped off the couch.

“You know the way out, good night.” She said quickly hurrying to the door of her room and ducking inside. She locked the door and leaned against it, covering her eyes and shaking her head. She looked up and saw herself in her vanity mirror and yelled at herself,

“Fuck!” There was a knock at her door and she nearly jumped a mile in the air.

“You all right in there?” he asked loud enough that she could hear him through the door.

“Yeah, fine, just leave!” she choked back through the door, moving away from it and running into her vanity.

“You sure you’re okay?” he asked again trying the doorknob and opening the door.

“I locked that fucking door,” she said, her eyes bugging out of her head when she saw him.

“Obviously you didn’t,” he replied smiling and stepping inside. He closed the door behind him and locked it. He tried to turn the knob and saw that it resisted. He rattled it a few times to show her it was locked and raised his eyebrows at her.

“Didn’t I ask you to leave?” Regina asked nervously reaching behind her on the vanity and knocking over a couple perfume bottles.

“You asked me to leave, but you didn’t ask me to leave.” He replied stalking towards her. She tried to back up again and consequently just knocked over more bottles.

“Why you so nervous?” he asked stepping closer and lifting her body up onto the vanity. There was another clinking of bottles falling over.

“Because, because any one in their right mind would know this is not okay.” Regina replied trying to squirm away. His hands were strong and held her tight to the spot.

“Then it’s a good thing that I always put my right mind away before I leave the house,” he replied leaning towards her and grabbing her lips between his again. Oh god, he was doing it again.

She had to admit, she was enjoying this too much. It was nice, not having someone she was so attached to begging her for sex. This time she could control the situation if she wanted, for her own pleasure. She didn’t have to do anything she didn’t want to. For one night she could be the freak she wanted to be and then she’d never see him again.

While his lips and tongue were tearing at her mouth she felt herself cautiously, ever so slightly lift her hand off the vanity. She hesitated before placing her hand on his neck. He pulled his face away panting and looked at her.

“You got a condom?” she asked breathlessly. He grinned and winked at her.

“Do you?” she asked with wide eyes.

“Of course I do, come on lets get you over on the bed,” he said sliding his hands under her buttocks and lifting her off the vanity. She fell forward and had to throw her arms around him to keep from losing her balance. He sat her down on the edge of the bed and kneeled on the floor in front of her. He undid the lacing at the top of the boots and teasingly pulled them off her legs. He slowly caressed her legs, from the knees to the arch of her foot.

Regina couldn’t help but shiver, did he ever have a way of persuading women. He looked up at her as he stood, starring her down with his eyes. She lay back on the pillows before him and watched as he kneeled over her, untied her shirt and opened her chest to his view. Her chest heaved up and down with her nervous heavy breathing. She felt her rib cage was going to explode with her purple silk bra constricted her chest. Why’d she put it on so tight?

“You need to relax or you’re going to have a heart attack,” he laughed kicking off his shoes.

“It’s just, just that I don’t, don’t usually do this sort of thing,” she replied stuttering.

“If you don’t want to do this, you need to tell me now,” he said pulling his wallet out of his pocket. He unfolded it, grabbed a green wrapped condom and stuffed the wallet back in his pocket.

“No, I do, I do. Just promise me that I won’t ever see you, or hear from you again, okay?” she asked giving him a sideways glance.

“That’s funny, most chicks are throwing their phone numbers at me,” he laughed, crawling back on the bed and straddling her hips. She pulled herself up slightly.

“No, I’m serious. A total one night stand, no strings, period, you swear?” Regina asked looking him in the eye.

“Yeah, yeah, I got it, just lay back, we’ll have us some wild monkey sex and you’re gonna be begging me to come back,” he laughed pushing her down on the mattress.

“No, I won’t.” Regina replied feeling his knees along her sides and wondering what the hell she’d gotten herself into.
