**Second Chances**Jackie was going back to her hotel room when Howie spotted after O-Town did a concert on behalf of DLF. " Hey, Jackie wait up." he said before she walked into her room. " What's up? Megan liked the concert." she said as she smiled looking at him. " Ohh I know. She was happy to be meeting Ashley." " You really know how to pull things off don't you." " You know me. You always have." Howie said and looked away. " Umm, it's getting late and I am very tired. I will see you later." " Good night." he said and kissed on the cheek. Jackie walked back into her room and layed down for awhile. She opened to door to the balcony and sat there for awhile. As she looked into the ocean, she decided to go for a walk along the beach. Meanwhile Howie was in his room when his phone rang. He picked it up and turned the radio on. " Hello." " Hey, D. It's Ashley." " What's up Ash. Great show." " Thanks. Listen the guys and I were just out there and we saw you with that girl." " Ohh you mean Jackie?" " Yeah! What's up with that?" " Nothing." he said and sighed. He realized how much he misses her and how much he still loved her. " Why didn't you kiss her?" " I guess it's because we both changed and we haven't been like that in about two years." " Well I can tell you this. Go out to the beach and you'll find someone there crying." Ashley said and hung up . Howie looked out his window and saw a person sitting on the beach and a couple swimming. The person sitting on the beach had her hair down, with the wind blowing. From the back she looked like Jackie. He had decided to go see who it was and wanted to know if they were okay. Jackie was watching the stars sparkle and the waves crashing into the sand and decided that the couple swimming out there was having fun. she had remembered when her and Howie had the much fun in their relationship. The last time they had fun was when they were in the Bahamas on a vacation just the two of them. That was when he told her he loved her and wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. But everything changed when she took that job with Josh.She looked down and started to play with the sand when someone came up behind her. " Jackie?" " Howie? What are you doing okay here?" she asked looking up and wiping tears away. " I wanted to come here for a breathe of fresh air. Are you okay?" he asked with a concern look and sat down next to her. " Yeah, no, I mean..." " Is it Josh?" " No, it's me. I'm confused. For the longest time I wanted you to take me in your arms and just hold me. Tell me everything was okay and that we can work things out. But I know things have changed. I've changed, you changed and probably our relationship. Howie, I still......" before she could finish he leaned forward to kiss her. " You are cute when you ramble. I love you too and I don't want to ruin it again." he continued to kiss her and held her tight as they watched the sunrise and held eachother for the rest of the night.
