The church was packed~Nick couldn't believe how many people Blane had known.He sat in the first pew with his parents.The guys and their girlfriends sat behind them. Nick looked over at Blane's casket,still unable to believe she was gone.This was the final realization.She would never again talk to him,kiss him,make love to him,or tell him how much she loved him.A tear fell down his cheek,and Jane reached over and squeezed his hand. Soon it was time to give his speech,and he walked up to the podium.He took a deep breath. "Blane was my world.I loved her with all my heart and soul.I still can't believe she's gone~seems just like yesterday we were standing in this exact same church saying our wedding vows,promising to love each other till death do us part.Unfortunately,that was too soon.Even though Blane's gone,I will always love her.She was importan to alot of people,not just me.We'll all miss her." He talked for a few more minutes,then went back to his seat. He was trying to hold his tears back,but when the service was over,and the song,"On Eagles Wings", began to play,he started crying. And at the cemetary,he sobbed as her casket was lowered into the ground.He wanted to throw himself on top of it and die along with her.He knew now that he couldn't face life without her. Once everyone had left,he stood alone at her gravesite,staring down at the ground,tears falling down his face. "Well,I guess this is it,baby girl.I will always love you,and you'll always be a part of me.You touched my life in so many ways,you could never imagine.Thanks for all the good times and memories you gave me.I love you so much," he said,and before he walked away,he threw a single red rose onto her casket.....

Brian and Karen sat on the couch,watching tv,but they weren't really paying much attention to what was on.They had just gotten back from the get~together at Nick's house after the funeral,and their minds were a million miles away. He reached over and squeezed her hand."It may not seem like it now,but everything's going to be OK," he said. She sighed."I know.I just can't begin to imagine the pain Nick's going through.I feel so bad for him," she replied.She scooted closer to him and he put his arm around her."Actually,I do know the pain he's in.I'd feel the same way if I lost you," she murmered. He gazed down at her."You'll never lose me Karen.That's a promise," he remarked,and brushed his lips against hers. She gave him a small smile."I love you,Brian," she whispered.She couldn't hold it in any longer~she needed to tell him how she felt. He kissed her."But I thought you said you weren't ready...," he began,but she cut him off by jumping in his lap and kissing him again. "Well,guess what?Now I am," she threw at him,and grinned. He pulled her down on top of him."I love you too,Karen," he said,and she smiled as he began to kiss her again,and a few minutes later they were making love.
