When Nick left Howie's,he headed over to Amy's,and when she answered she
didn't say anything.
Nick glared at her."Thank you so much for opening your big mouth and
telling Blane what happened between us.Now she left me,and doesn't even want
to talk to me."
They went inside and she closed the door,and she turned to him."I am so
sorry Nick.I thought you had already told her," she said.
"You're lying through your teeth Amy.You told her just to break us
up.Besides,why would I have told her?We agreed to keep it between us," he
exclaimed.
She placed a hand on his arm."Nick,calm down," she replied.
He pulled away from her."I don't want to calm down,Amy.I'm pissed as hell
right now.My wife just left me;she's the most important person in my life." A
tear fell down his cheek,and she reached up and wiped it away.
"Nick,I hate to see you so upset.And it's all my fault," she replied.
He stepped away from her."It sure is all your fauly,Amy.I can't believe
you'd do something like this.Our friendship is over," he tossed at her.
She gazed at him."I'm sorry Nick," she said,stepping closer to him,and
before he could say anything,she had her arms around his neck and was kissing
him.
He pushed her away."Geez,Amy.You just don't know when to quit,do you?,"
he exclaimed.
She looked up at him."I can't help the way I feel about you Nick," she
told him.
He held up his hand."Don't contact me again,Amy," he said firmly,and
turned and left

Karen was lying on the couch watching a movie when Brian came back from
the store.She walked over and wrapped her arms around him.
"So what have you been doing while I was gone?," he asked,starting to
unpack the bags.
She shrugged."Just watching a movie.I talked to Kari for a few
minutes~Blane is staying with her and Howie because she left Nick.He
supposedly fooled around with that Amy chick and Blane found out about it,"
she said.
Brian nearly dropped the can he was holding."Nick told her?," he asked.
Karen shook her head."I think Amy told her,thinking she already knew."
She looked at Brian."Don't tell me you knew all along."
Brian sighed."Nick told me what happened between him and Amy on the
cruise.I knew Blane would find out sooner or later," he remarked.
Karen continued to look at him."So you're saying she would have been
better off not knowing?Brian,Nick has been lying to her their entire
marriage.It was wrong of him to keep it from her."
Brian noted an edge to her voice,and walked over to her."I'm not saying
he did the right thing by not telling her,but I'm glad now that she does
know.Hopefully they'll be able to wrok through it."
Karen shook her head."From what I hear,Blane isn't planning on forgiving
him anytime soon.I wouldn't either if I were in her shoes," she stated.
Brian crossed his arms over his chest."So you're saying that just because
he made one little mistake,he doesn't deserve another chance?That doesn't
sound fair,Karen," he said.
She shot him a look,annoyed by his attitude about the entire
situation."What isn't fair is the fact that he thought he didn't have to tell
Blane what happened.They're supposed to tell each other everything and not
keep secrets from each other.I can't believe you think it's OK he didn't tell
her."
Brian stepped toward her."Karen,let's not fight," he replied,and she took
a deep breath as he folded her into his arms.Her anger and annoyance at him
faded away instantly.
