~*Chapter 61*~
AJ was halfway down the hallway when he heard the sound of glass breaking
coming from Erica's room.He turned and ran back,suddenly worried.
He pushed open the door,and the sight that greeted him tore at his
heart~Erica laying on the bed crying.He went over to her and gently touched
her shoulder."Erica,honey.Don't cry.I'm sorry," he said.
She threw her arms around him as she continued to cry.He gently ran his
hand up and down her back,trying to calm her down.
He kissed her ear."It's ok,baby.I'm sorry I got mad," he whispered,and
she pulled away and wiped at her cheeks,taking a deep breath.
"Oh AJ.You must think I'm the biggest bitch on the face of the earth,"
she replied,blowing her nose with the tissue he handed to her.
He laughed softly and kissed her."Of course not.I understand how out of
whack your hormones are right now," he said,rubbing his hand up and down her
arm.
She looked down at the bed."I shouldn't be yelling at you the way I did
though.That's what I feel bad about," she told him.She looked up at him,her
eyes still sparkling with tears."I don't know why you put up with me."
He laced his fingers through hers."I put up with you because I love
you.That's why," he remarked.He tucked some hair behind her ear."I'm gonna
fix you a hot bubble bath,and tuck you into bed before I head out with the
guys.How does that sound?"
She smiled."That sounds wonderful.I need to relax," she replied.
He disappeared into the bathroom then,and she began to slip her clothes
off.When he came back a few minutes later,and saw her standing there naked,he
grinned from ear to ear.
"Looking good there baby," he replied.He stepped closer to her and took
her in his arms,and they kissed briefly before she pulled away.
"I'm getting bigger every day," she complained,rubbing her stomach.
He got down on his knees and kissed her stomach."Don't listen to your
mommy.She just likes to complain alot," he said,and Erica laughed.She pulled
him back up and they shared a deep kiss.
After a few moments,he pulled away.
"You better get in that tub before the water gets cold," he told her.
A half hour later,Erica stepped out of the tub,dried herself off,slipped
into her favorite nightshirt,and sprayed on some of her favorite perfume.When
she walked into the bedroom,AJ was sitting in a chair waiting for her.He
looked up and smiled.
"How was your bubble bath?," he asked,standing up and pulling her to
him.He instantly buried his face in her neck and began to kiss her.
She sighed contentedly."Very relaxing.Thank you," she whispered,running
her fingers through his hair.
He pulled away."No problem.Anything for the woman who's having my child,"
he remarked.He led her over to the bed."Now you need to get some sleep."
She climbed underneath the sheets,and AJ fluffed her pillows.
"Sweet dreams.I'll see you in the morning," he said,and leaned down and
kissed her."I love you."
She smiled up at him."I love you too,AJ," she replied,and closed her
eyes,a small smile on her face.
He turned to leave then,but stopped when he noticed her engagement ring
on the floor,almost all the way underneath the curtains.He picked it up and
slipped it in his pocket.
"I have another surprise for you,my love," he murmered to himself,as he
stepped out into the hall and locked the door behind him.

Erica opened her eyes and gasped at what she saw.The room was filled with
heart~shaped balloons that had 'I LOVE YOU' written all over them.She sat up
and also noticed that there were teddy bears scattered all over the room that
had the same thing written on them.She looked around but didn't see AJ.
She got out of bed and walked toward the living room,and there was AJ
sitting on the back of the sofa holding a dozen roses.He smiled when she
entered the room.
"Sleeping Beauty awakens," he replied,handing her the roses.She inhaled
their sweet scent.
"What is all this?," she asked,and pointed toward her bedroom.
He kissed her."All for you,my beautiful lady.I know I don't tell you all
the time how much I love you,so I thought I'd show you," he said.
A tear slid down her cheek."Oh AJ," she whispered.
They kissed briefly before he pulled away and gazed into her eyes.
"Do you love me Erica?," he asked.
She smiled."Of course I love you.How can you even ask that?," she
answered.
"How much do you love me?," he continued,taking her hand.
She looked at him with a serious expression."More than anything in this
world," she replied,wondering what he was getting at.
"Do you love me enough," he began,and dropped down on one knee,"to spend
the rest of your life as my wife?" He slid her engagement ring on her
finger,and she felt herself unable to stop the tears from falling.
"Yes,I'd be honored to be your wife.But I thought we already did this
part," she said.
He wiped her tears away."We did,but as I was leaving last night I saw
your ring on the floor,so I thought I'd make it official and ask you again,"
he told her.
She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him."Oh AJ.You're so
sweet to me," she replied.
He kissed her back."That's because I love you with all my heart," he
said.He gazed at her."Every part of you.Even your ugly mood swings," he
joked,and they both laughed.
"I promise to call the doctor and see if there is anything I can take to
control them," she said."I can't keep flipping out on you for the next 4
months."
He kissed her."I hope you don't have any plans for the rest of the
day,because I told the guys I'd be here all day with you," he said.
She smiled slyly at him."And what are we going to do all day?," she
asked,lacing her fingers through his.
He began to lead her toward the bedroom."I'm sure we'll think of
something," he murmered,as he gently shut the door and began to kiss her.
She giggled as his hands moved up and down her body,and a moment later
she was standing naked in front of him.She removed all his clothes,and
grinned at what she saw.
"Come to mama," she said seductively,and he leaned over and they began to
kiss.
He was majorly aroused by this time and she looked down."What a good
boy," she said,beginning to stroke him.
He let out a low moan as their lips met once again and they fell onto the
bed.

Nick and Blane were getting ready to head out for a day of shopping when
the phone rang.
Blane went over and picked it up.
"Hello?," she answered,and a second later handed it to Nick."It's for
you."
He took the phone from her.A moment later his face went pale.
"Oh my god.I'll take the next plane home,Mom.Ok,bye." He hung up and
turned to her.
"Nick,what's wrong?," she asked,taking his hand.
His eyes were glassy with tears.
"That was my mom.My dad had a heart attack.I gotta go home for awhile,"
he said.He took a deep breath as she folded him into her arms."What'll I do
if he doesn't make it Blane?"
She pulled away and gazed at him."Don't think like that.And I'm going
with you.I don't want you going through this alone," she said.
He kissed her."Thanks Blane.I love you so much.I don't know what I'd do
without you," he told her.They were quiet a moment,and he finally said," we better go tell everyone."
