~* Chapter 49*~
A FEW WEEKS LATER...Everyone was hanging out at AJ's apartment watching
movies.The guys were scheduled to go back out on tour the following week and
wanted to enjoy as much of their free time as they could before they did so.
Things between Erica and AJ were better than they'd ever been.They had
finally started making some wedding plans and were aiming for the middle of
July,which was only two months away.
Nick and Blane's relationship had been very rocky since they'd gotten
back together a few weeks before.Lately all they'd been doing was
fighting.They hadn't made love in over a month,and they hardly spent any time
together.At this moment they were in the middle of another fight,this one due
to the fact that Nick had lied to her and snuck out to see Mandy,who had once
again gotten in touch with him.She had accused him of cheating on her and he
had gotten mad because of her accusation.That had happened three days ago and
they hadn't spoken since.They sat at opposite ends of the room glaring at
each other.
As for Kelly and Kevin,their relationship seemed to be getting better
every dayThey spent every waking hour together,and Kelly couldn't wait to go
on tour with him.She was falling in love with him,there was no denying that
fact.
Howie and Kari were also planning their wedding.They were getting married
in a double ceremony with Erica and AJ.Kari had never been this happy in her
entire life~Howie was so wonderful to her and she loved him with all her
heart.
Brian and Lisa were also doing good.They were talking about moving in
together when Brian had another break from touring,which would be in another
few months.She couldn't wait~they were even talking about getting a dog.
AJ looked away from the screen."There's some beer in the refrigerator if
anyone wants any," he announced.
Nick stood up."I'll have one.Does anyone else want one?," he asked,and a
few minutes later he came back in with a beer for everybody except Erica,who
didn't like beer.
After another half hour or so,Blane stood up."I better get going.It's
been a long day," she said.
Everyone said their goodbyes,all except Nick,who didn't look away from
the movie.
Blane grabbed her purse and left quickly before Nick could see her start
to cry.

A FEW DAYS LATER...Blane knocked on Nick's front door.He had called her and
told her he needed to talk to her,not over the phone but in person.She had
refused at first because she was still upset with him,but he had insisted and
she had finally agreed.
When he didn't answer,she sighed and glanced at her watch.She was about
to turn and leave when the door opened and Nick stood in the doorway.
"Glad you could come," he said.
She folded her arms across her chest and looked at him."It's not like I
had a choice," she threw at him.
He stepped back."Come on in," he told her,and she brushed past him.
The second she entered the house,she noticed the soft music playing and
several candles were lit.Then she saw candles sitting on the stairs leading
up to his room.She turned to him.
"What's all this?," she asked,as Nick stepped closer to her.
"This is why I wanted you to come over.I want us to stop
fighting,Blane.We've both got alot going on and we can't keep taking it out
on each other or we'll wind up driving each other away," he said.
She was quiet a moment before asking,"Were you being honest when you said
there was nothing going on between you and Mandy?." She gazed up at him.
He nodded as he ran his fingers through her hair."Yes.I was being
completely and totally honest.I love you Blane.You're the only girl in my
life.I'd never dream of hurting you in any way," he replied.
She gave him a small smile."Oh Nick.I'm sorry I got so mad.It's just the
thought of losing you drives me crazy and I don't ever want that to happen,"
she said.She was quiet before continuing."And I think I also got scared
because our relationship was getting so intense and I've never felt for
anyone the way I feel about you.Does that make any sense at all?"
He nodded."It makes perfect sense.I feel the same way," he replied.
She wrapped her arms around him."I was going crazy not having you around
Nick.I missed you so much," she said.
He leaned over and they kissed.She pulled away and looked up at him."How
much did you really miss me?," she murmered,bending over and kissing his neck.
He ran his hands up and down her back and let him kiss her for a moment
before pulling away."Really want to know how much?," he asked,and walked into
the living room and returned a moment later with such a huge bouquet of roses
that he was swallowed up in them.
She gasped."Oh Nick!," she exclaimed,her hand flying to her mouth.
He set them on the hall table and turned to her."I know roses are your
favorite flowers,so I bought you three dozen of 'em," he replied.
She fingered them and leaned over to inhale their sweet scent."I love
them.They're beautiful," she told him."I take it you have the whole house to
yourself if you've done all this," she said.
He nodded."Yeah.Everyone's gone for the weekend," he remarked.There was a
moment of silence before she stepped toward him and began to kiss him.
"I've really missed you Nick," she whispered between kisses.She ran her
fingers through his hair as their kisses grew deeper.
After a moment he pulled away and gazed at her."Stay tonight," he
murmered.
She smiled."I thought you'd never ask," she said,as he took her hand and
led her upstairs.
Once they were in his room she reached up and pulled off his shirt and
threw it on the floor.Then she reached down and unbuttoned his jeans as they
kissed.
"Mmm,baby.You smell good," she murmered as he reached for the buttons of
her blouse and slowly slid it off.It landed in a pile on the floor.Then he
slowly slid off her skirt and a moment later they were on the bed.
She ran her fingers up and down his bare back as he gently began to kiss
her neck.He slowly let his kisses travel over her throat,up her neck,until
finally their lips met in a hungry kiss.
"Oh Nick...," she moaned,as his kisses travelled down to her breasts and
he reached around and unhooked her bra.Then he brought his lips to her
awaiting nipples,making her cry out in pleasure.
A moment later he bagan a trail of kisses down her stomach,and he
fingered her underwear and looked up at her with a twinkle in his eyes.
"Nickolas Gene Carter,you're such a bad boy," she tossed at him,and he
grinned.
"I know," he said,and a moment later he had her underwear off and was
gently kissing her stomach again.Then he began to go lower and lower,and her
heart began to pound in anticipation.
"Nick...," she moaned,as her body yearned for him.
He found what he was after and began to pleasure her as she'd never been
before.She cried out his name as he worked wonders on her.After a few minutes
of intense pleasuring,he started his trail of kisses again,starting at her
stomach and working his way up.When his mouth met hers,she kissed him
hungrily as she reached down and removed his boxer shorts.
"Oh God NIck...," she moaned,as he moved on top of her.She spread her
legs and he entered her,and they both cried out in pleasure.
He began to jerk himself in and out of her in a slow motion,making
