Peaches paced in her room.   She couldn't believe that Cort would just leave like that. Didn't he know that he was her inspiration for writing.  This means WAR, she thought.  She decided to go talk to Liz.  

"Hey, I think we need to do something about this." Peaches said walking into the Tavern.

"Like what?" Liz asked tilting her head with a grin.

"Something to teach the boys it's not nice to play with us like that." Peaches said smiling.

"Well, I don't think they were playing, just giving us space." Liz said staring at her.

"That's not the point, they are our inspiration, without them we couldn't write." Peaches said shaking her head.

"OK so what do we do?" Liz grinned.   Peaches leaned in and told Liz her plan.  

"Are you serious? What if they want us to send them what we wrote and we have nothing at all. I can't even come up with anything." Liz wondered aloud.   Peaches and Liz thought for a moment to try to come up with an idea to make the boys think that the girls had actually done their work. "Um OK, this is what we do. first we need to get every one in the Tavern......." Peaches went on to tell everything to be done.

Both Liz and Peaches ran from the tavern. Time was valuable and every moment counted. "Wait!" Liz stopped dead in her tracks. "What?" Peaches was already 1/3 of the way up the stairs. "This," Liz pointed to the Fire Alarm, "it's for emergency's right, I think this qualifies" Liz looked at Peaches daringly. Surely this would bring everyone running from there rooms and out side. With a grin Peaches ran back down stairs "You're crazy. That's for fire emergencies."Peaches giggled.  "Nooooo not that one silly that one." Liz had correctively pointed at the right direction. Before her finger was an alarm panel that was a plainly colored blue. "PULL IT!" Peaches demanded. With that a load alarm went off. Followed by screaming and a thunderous sound of feet pounding the steps and out the Nest doors.  

"What's going on?" Laura asked as she tried to catch her breath.

"Come on, we need everyone in the Tavern." Peaches called out as she walked towards it.

"Wait, why was the alarm pulled?" Tina asked staring at them.  

"We needed you all out here, and instead of walking around knocking on the doors, this way was faster." Liz giggled. "Now come on, we're working on a plan to get the guys back." She continued.

After everyone gathered in the Tavern, Peaches and Liz explained their plan. Everyone just sat there, some with grins, others with a confused look.

"So you want us to pretend to finish our stories so they come home, then what exactly, I think they'll figure it out." Michelle said looking at Peaches.  

"Well we're going to have fun with them first, before they have the chance to figure it out." Peaches giggled.   Peaches explained her plan further.   She gave everyone an assignment to do. Everyone got up and headed towards their appointed place.  

"So do you think this will work?" Tina asked as she and Liz began going through some older stories.   "Of course it will!" Liz laughed.

Before getting to in to the work ahead Liz went to the Jukebox and made a few adjustments. Colin had made a few minor adjustments to the player few months prior when it required service. "Taking Care Of Business" was the first song Liz had selected. Giggling Liz shouted out "All right girls. Let's take care of business!" A roar of laughter erupted. Tina and Liz were hard at work on the stories. The rest of the ladies of the Nest were going around preparing every nook and cranny there was on the Nest property. Norma Jean and Brynn went about in the guys bed rooms. Adding large amounts of food coloring to their tooth paste and adding a Florescent shades to their shampoos and conditioners. Lady sneaked in to Sid's room and removed all of his outfits he had left and replaced them jeans and Polo shirts in the colors of red, blue and Grass green. Toping it all off she left a pair of penny loafers and took all of his 15 different hair gels and hid them.

Back at the Tavern Liz and Tina took a break, Liz went for Terry's room. Tina mean while went to John's rink and turned on all the heaters, leaving a shallow pool.

Peaches, Laura and Michelle went to the stables.   They had packed up Peaches truck with a bunch of bean bags, posters, paint, beads and lava lamps. As fast as they could they painted up the barn and decorated it in 70's style theme.  They then moved the barn animal's to Colin, Cort and Maximus' rooms. 

After doing this the girls decided to check on everyone else.   Most of the girls were downstairs in the Tavern.   

"Why did you bring all the animals here?" Liz asked staring at them.

"Thought they might like a change of scenery." Peaches laughed.  

"OK now its time for the welcome back party." Liz laughed.

"OK let's go work on the food, remember it has to be extra special!" Peaches laughed.   

Annabella, Kath, Tawny, and Roberta were in the kitchen cooking a "special meal" for the guys and of course something separate for the girls. Yet they were the same foods.

Liz, Michelle, Aurore, Evelyne and Tina began grabbing all sorts of things from flour to honey to eggs to squash to sour cream. Making all kinds off gooey and nasty stuff they filled balloons and loaded them in to boxes. And after Peaches and Liz decided on hot spots Syrena, Kelly, Lisa and the one and only guy to be left behind Rick, carried the balloon cocktails out.

After working all day on preparing the grounds they had finally finished. Everyone had gathered back in the Tavern for dinner. Joking around and coming up with more ideas to work on the following day. The sudden shrill ring from the phone made everyone jump. Liz ran to the phone, and everyone hushed to hear the out come.

"Crowe's Tavern, Liz speaking" Liz answered. "Hey baby." Terry was on the end. "Terry!" Liz was happy to hear his thick Aussie accent. "Where are you guys? We miss you like crazy?" Liz questioned him with innocents in her voice. "We miss you to. Everything gong on OK there?" Liz knew Terry was beating around the bush trying to ignore the question at hand.  " Yes, everything is very fine! Terry were did you guys go to?" Liz was become anxious. "Tell you what. If you ladies finish your stories tonight, we will all rush home. Annnnnnd I'll be back in your arms tonight?" Terry teased. "I do believe that everyone is pretty much done. We were just eating dinner and looking over each others stories. All we have left to do is correct any mistakes!" Liz was now ginning ear to ear. Hoping that Terry's training hadn't caught on to her lies!  "Well that's good, luv.  I'll let the other's know." Terry said before saying goodbye.

"So did he fall for it?" Peaches asked laughing.

"I think so." Liz giggled.  "He said that if we had our stories done tonight then they'd come home tonight." she added.

"But we haven't done everything." Michelle said standing up.

"Well I suggest we get a move on it.  Ok, Liz and Tina get the stories ready to send.  Everyone else, let's finish up!" Peaches said standing up. 

Peaches headed towards the Hotel, she gasped when she saw the car lights coming her way.  "It can't be!" She whispered.  She quickly turned around and headed towards the Tavern.  Running in she yelled.

"They're here! They're here!" She yelled trying to catch her breath. 

"How could they? Terry just called! And they said when we send the stories they'd be back!" Liz began to panic.

"It's them, I recognized the vehicles, plus their pulling horse trailers! They're here!" Peaches said shaking her head.

"Shit!" Liz gasped.

"Ok get everyone together! Make sure everything is set! Even our other plans! I'll try to stall them! And please HURRY!" Peaches said as she turned toward the doors and walked out.  Coming out she came face to face with Cort.  "Cort!" She called out throwing her arms around him.

"Done" Tina called out. "It's all here" Tina handed over the finished stories over to Liz, who in turned went outside to greet the guys. East, Cort and Max were tending to the horses while cars were being unloaded of camping gear. Liz spotted Terry as well as the rest of the ladies spotted their mates as they filed out of the tavern. "So you went on a camping trip did you?" Michelle asked Colin. Colin picked Michelle and swung her around as they reunited. Liz came up behind Terry and threw her arms around him. " Hey there handsome," she called out in a low seductive voice.   "Hi there yourself" Terry turned around and kissed Liz. Parting from there kiss Peaches took the papers in Liz's hands. Everyone had now found there mate and headed in to the tavern. Annabella, Kath and Joan went to the kitchen to fetch the guys some home made soup and first serving the ladies first and then brought out some for the guys.   

"Oh Annabella You out did yourself again this looks delicious!" Evelyne noted. "Yea it sure does." Zack looked over her shoulder licking his lips. "Get your own!" Evelyne scolded.   "Zack,"  Zack turned to look behind him Kath was holding his plate. "FOOD! You know ladies these guys suck at bringing good food on trips" Zack sung out.  Like proper ladies, the women of the Nest slowly began to eat a bit of soup with the guys. Apparently someone had forgotten to bring some food along because all the men had eaten all there soup in record time.   "Hey, hey, hey slow down guys. There's more where that came from." Peaches snickered.   

"Great cause we're starving!" Cort said as he finished the last of his soup. Peaches nodded to Annabella and Kath signaling to bring the rest of the food out. She noticed that some of the guys began to sweat.  

"Are you guys hot? I can turn the air on if you'd like?" Peaches said trying to hold back her laughter.

"Wow, this soup is a little spicy." John said as he gulped his glass of beer down.

"I didn't think it was spicy, did anyone else?" Peaches said grinning at the girls.

"Nope, I sure didn't!" Michelle said shaking her head. The rest of the girls all answered the same.    

The men seemed to each drink a gallon of water.  The girls snickered and giggled at the sight of them sweating and waving frantically at their mouths trying to cool them down.

"Maybe our next course will cool your mouths down." Annabella said as she brought a tray of food out.

"Wow, that looks great!" Laura said smiling at her.

"Thanks." Annabella said as she handed the girls their meals first.   Kath then came out of the kitchen carrying the guys.

"Smells great." Maximus said leaning over his plate.

The men began to bite into their meals.   Liz noticed the look Terry gave as he began to chew his food.

"Is that mint?" Terry asked looking at Annabella.

"Yes, I used a very special recipe for this meal." Annabella answered smiling at him.

"Well, it, um, tastes very good." John said as he tried to swallow his food.

"Sure........does." Cort said as his eyes began to water.

"Well, make sure you save room for desert, honey, its a special recipe of mine." Peaches said kissing Cort on the cheek as he tried to continue his meal.

"Cort Hon are you OK?" Peaches was desperately trying to control herself.

Cort and most of the guys faces had become a fair shade of red. "Just dandy sweetheart"// You lie what the hell did you do to the food, these girls are going to pay for this//

"I think there is something wrong with our food" John cried as he forced himself to eat the meal.  "There fine, you're just all being wimps. It's all perfectly fine see here try a bite of mine" Liz Offered. Terry took no time to wait, he quickly gabbed a bit of Liz's dinner. "Hey yours is not as spicy!" Terry whined "it was all cooked at the same time, you're just getting used to the flavoring."

Just as Kath started to serve the desert. Peaches' personal recipe for Chocolate Cream pie. Loaded with Mylanta and sprinkled with shavings of chocolate shaped exlax. "Wait!" Sid shouted. "I don't think I trust the girls. We want the first servings of the cake." The girls stopped and looked at each other in what to do. "OK Sid have it your way. But it is all the same. Here you can have the first slice" Kath offered. "Kath let me help you with that." Peaches offered. As soon as they got back into the kitchen Peaches rambled off to Kath, "What the hell were you thinking, Now we are getting the bad cake. How are we going to get around this Kath?" Kath couldn't help but giggle with delight. "No, they have the special cake. I figured Sid would open his mouth, and even if he didn't I was going to give it to the guys anyway." Peaches grinned as she returned to the eating area and helped serve the rest of the desert. Afterward the all the guys demanded to see the stories and carefully read over each one in turn, burst of laughter and kisses were stolen between sentences. After everyone finished reading they all went to a corner of the tavern to discuss if the should leave or stay.

"OK I think they are up to something." Zack quizzed the guys "Rightly so. They are just getting back at us for leaving them. There wasn't an ounce of hot spices in Liz's dinner!" Terry informed of his bite that he stole.

"So what are we going to do now mate?" Mannie asked with a huge gin on his face Max answered "Revenge mate. But I'm not so sure about that cake either," Max rubbed his tummy. The building pressure of bloating had already began. "Yea I say we get even. Wait, what are we going to do?" Sid wondered.

A laughter from the opposite side of the room interrupted the meeting. Zack looked up and waved to the lades. Returning his attention to his brother's "Man you know they have something up there sleeve. They have guilty written all offer their face."

"Well?" the girls asked in unison. "OK we will stay! " Zack said. cheers broke out from the ladies and a few glances.  Peaches, Kath and Liz went to the bar and began pouring a round of beer for the guys.   

"I don't know, ladies, I think they know." Peaches said as she watched Cort. "You think?" Kath asked looking over at her. "So do you think we should continue this?" Liz asked grinning at her. "Damn skippy!" Peaches giggled.

Before the guys had any chance of drinking their beers, most of them jumped up and headed to the bathroom.   

"Now the fun really begins." Peaches whispered to Liz.  Both girls just giggled. 

"What's going on?" Terry asked as he came back from the bathroom. "What do you mean?" Liz asked innocently.

"You girls did something to our food, didn't you!" John said as he followed behind Terry, holding his stomach. 

"Now why would we do that?   We didn't even know you were coming home tonight." Tina said trying not to laugh.  John and Terry just looked at each other.

After the millions questions came the girls decided to head to bed.  As they walked across to the Hotel.  East came running up.   

"WHAT did you do to the STABLES!" He shouted.  Peaches tried to hold her laughter but couldn't.

"We didn't do anything." Peaches said stifling her laughter.

"What's going on?" Cort asked as he walked out of the Tavern followed by the others.

"They, they, they destroyed the stables!" East said waving his arms frantically.

"We did not." Liz said with a soft giggle.

"Let's go see." John said as he started walking towards the stables.  The girls stood there for a minute until John told them to come. "I don't know, I think the stables look great." Peaches whispered to Laura, then began laughing.

Cort stopped dead in his tracks, he stood starring at the jaw hanging open. John could only shake his head and laugh. through out the inside there were lava lamps bean bag seats. Hanging from roof was a Mirror ball with a light shining on it. In a far corner a strobe light was flashing in multi colors. 60's rock music was also playing ranging from Janis Joplin to Jimmy Hendrix. None of the guys had noticed that Brynn and Tina had snuck out to the barn when they excused themselves to the restroom. Having to wait till East and Max had the horses back in their stables. Before they left to return to the Tavern they took some of the Love beads off the walls and decorated the horses with them and replaced their normal blankets with Tie Dyed ones Max saw everyone over the barn and went to find out what was going on. Max froze when he got to the barn, finally in a fit of rage he started yelling. "What the hell happened in here! Who is responsible for this."

The girls all looked at each other innocently. 

"I guess somebody decided the barn needed something else besides animals." Peaches giggled.

"I guess that person would be you!" East said glaring at Peaches.

"I would never do anything like this!" Peaches said trying hard to look insulted.

"Oh I guess the 60's fairy just popped in and decided to decorate the place!" East snapped.

"Looks that way." Liz giggled.

"Well I'm tired, so I heading to bed." Peaches said turning to go.

"Oh no you don't! Your going to clean this mess up!" East snapped at her.

"I don't think so, I didn't do this." Peaches said walking away.  Followed by the rest of the girls.

"They're getting pretty mad, do you think we should continue this?" Laura asked as she glanced back at Max. 

"Hell yes! Besides if anyone can calm them down, its us." Peaches giggled.

"True, very true." Laura giggled.

All the girls gathered in Peaches' room.  The fun had only began, and they wanted front row seats to what would happen next. 

"Ok, ladies, you know things are really going to pick up when they go to their rooms.  Remember to look innocent and laugh as hard as you can!" Peaches giggled.  "And get the balloons ready." She added. 

Peaches turned out the lights of her room while she and the rest of the ladies watched from the window. All of the guys had retreated back to their rooms. Busying themselves to get a shower and ready for bed. Sid was the first of men to scream. " My Beautiful hair." Sid cried out. Sid ran out of his room banging on the doors. John opened his door. To his surprise Sid's brown hair was now pink. "This will never go with my cloths. I look ridiculous." Sid screamed.  

"Wth gothing on out ther" Bud mumbled as he brushed his teeth.

"What mate?" John questioned.

"I said what's going on out here?" Bud replied. Colin, Steve, and Zack burst out laughing, and pointed at Bud's foaming purple mouth and orange hair. 

"Mate have you looked in a mirror lately?" Lachlan asked.

"No why? Mine's all fogged up from the shower." Bud answered.  

"Go look, Sid go put some cloths on!" John stated.  

"Why I'm not complaining" Jeff teased. Sid practically ran back to his room.  

"NOOOOOOO!" Sid screamed. "I'm going to kill them"

"What's the matter Sid?" Alex asked walking in to Sid's room. "They took my cloths and, and, left me Jeans, and a frigin polo's and penny loafers." With discuss in his voice Sid rambled off at what had been done to his closet.   

"What's that noise?" Steve asked as a strange noise came from Maximus' room. "Don't know, is Maximus in there?" Colin asked trying to stop his laughter. "Don't know." Steve said as he knocked on the door then slowly opened it.  

Maximus was standing in the middle of the room.   He said nothing, did nothing.   As soon as Steve and Colin opened the door, chickens flew out towards them.

"Oh shit!" Steve said as a chicken did a fly by.

"The girls are in serious trouble." Maximus said as a rooster landed on his head.

"Wait if they did this to your room, I hate to see what they did to ours." Colin said as he turned and headed for his room.   All you heard was a "I'M GOING TO KILL THEM!"

Cort came up from downstairs. "What's all the commotion up here?" He asked the burst out into laughter when he saw Bud's hair and mouth. "This isn't funny!" Bud said as he tried rinsing his mouth out. Cort continued walking, stopping by Colin's room.  Cort didn't say anything but laugh uncontrollably.  

"Don't think you got out of this one, mate, I'd check your room." Colin said as a goose bit him in the butt.  

Cort slowly opened his door.   At first he didn't see anything.   "Looks fine to me." Cort whispered to himself.   Suddenly a pig flew through his legs, causing him to fall to the floor, his face landing right in mud.

Liz had yet to join the rest of the girls up in Peaches room. She was in the stock room with Jennifer, Andy, and Terry. Both of the guys were working on getting the girls to talk. Andy finally gave up and left to go up stairs and Jennifer went to join the rest of the ladies. Liz was just finishing on restocking the last of the drinks when Terry walked up behind her, nibbling at her neck.

"Come on, tell me?" He asked her.

"Tell you what?" Liz tried to look innocent.

"You know what I am talking about!" Terry mumbled trying to torture Liz in to telling.

"Oh that!" Liz turned in Terry's arms and gave him a big long kiss, breaking away she looked at him in the eyes "I Love you."

Terry took a step back "I love you too but that's not what I am asking you?"

"TERRY, YOU BETTER GET UP HERE!" Max yelled from the top of the stairs. "I'll be right back. Don't you leave I want to talk to you." Terry scolded and took off for the stairs. Liz waited till he was gone and broke in to a dead run for the door and up to the Nest Hotel. She got to Peaches door and banged on it till Michelle let her in. "Oh my God I didn't think I would ever make it over here. What's all going on?" Liz asked. Peaches and the rest of the girls filled her in on everything that happened.

Just as Terry began a couple of chickens flew past him.   Terry dodged out of way only to fall on the top step, landing on his stomach coming face to face with a pig.  

"What the hell is this!" Terry snapped standing up and moving around the pig.

"I'll give you one guess!" Maximus said as he avoid another fly by from a chicken.

"It's time we go over there and...."John began but a peck to the butt from a goose caused him to stop and jump.   "GET THEM!" he continued as he headed for the stairs.

"I agree!" Sid said coming up behind him.  "They ruined me!" Sid said touching his hair.

The girls saw the guys storm out of the Tavern. The girls slowly crepe out to Peaches' balcony.

"OK ladies, its now or never!" She whispered as each girl picked up a balloon.

"Wow, they looked pissed!" Laura whispered as she saw the look on Max's face. "Their going to be steaming when we finish this!" Liz whispered with a giggle.

"OK ladies, take aim!" Peaches whispered.  

Just as the girls were about to throw the balloons they heard a noise behind them. 

"What was that?" Liz asked glancing over to Peaches. 

"I don't know." Peaches whispered back.  Peaches slowly turned around, she gasped.

"I don't think so ladies!" Hando said as he launched towards them.

"RUN!" Peaches yelled out as Hando flew towards her.   

Michelle and Tina gabbed a side of the crate holding the ammo. Joan, and Brynn took aim and tossed a few balloons at Hando. One only striking him in the chest knocking him back and on his arise.

"There they go" the general shouted. "LET"S GET EM'"  A mob of men dashed after the women. Before long balloons were sailing through the air some striking the target others giving the opposing team ammo. After the last balloon popped everyone was covered in gooey mixtures, including catsup, mustard, whip cream mixed with marchino cherry sauce and syrup. Only God knew what else was in the balloons after a while of resting on the ground Colin started to laugh.

"What's so funny? Johnny asked out of breath.

"Look at us!" Colin answered.

"Well it serves you right. If you guys didn't leave like you did this would have never would have happened!"  Joan exclaimed.

"Smile!" Steve shouted. Before everyone knew what was happening Steve had started taking pictures of the aftermath. Hando sat up looking around at everyone laughing. He couldn't even remember the last time he had so much fun. So much has changed for him since he moved in to the Nest looking around he spotted a fire hose that was mounted on the side of the house. Hando opened the glass door and pulled out the hose tossing it up on the roof. Before climbing up the balcony Hando turned the water on. Once up on the roof he looked below "LOOK AT YOU. YOU ALL LOOK PITIFUL" Hando shouted, hiding the hose behind him.

"Holly shit, Hando has gone mad!" Kim called out.

"Hando get down from there. You might fall and bust your head open." The parental side of Jeffery yelled out at Hando "Not a Chance" Hando yelled back. And with that he pulled out the hose and steadied himself as he opened the hose wide open!

The girls began screaming as the cold water hit them. 

"HANDO!" Peaches yelled out as the force of the water knocked her on her butt.

"What's the matter, not having fun!" Hando yelled back laughing.

"NO!" Peaches said as she hit her hands into the muddy water.

"Can't take what back what you give, can you, honey." Cort said walking up to her laughing.

"I'll show you can't take it!" Peaches said as she grabbed a handful of mud and threw it at him, hitting him right in the face.  Peaches began to laugh, but Cort didn't find it too funny.  He quickly reached down grabbing mud in both hands and quickly tackled her, applying the mud everywhere.  Peaches squealed beneath him.

"MUD WRESTLING! WOO HOO!" Sid said as he jumped on Cort and Peaches.

"DOGGY PILE!" Andy yelled as he jumped on them too.  Before they knew it everyone was falling on top of them.  Peaches squirmed her way out from under everyone.  Peaches managed to stand up, followed by the rest of the girls.  

"I have an idea!" Peaches whispered grinning at the girls.  "Follow me!" she said turning and walking away. 

"I hope its nothing else that's going to get us dirty." Tina said as she looked down at her clothes.

"Um, I don't think at this point it really matters." Laura laughed putting her arm around Tina.  

The guys finally stopped wrestling around long enough to see that the girls were no longer there.

"Hey, what happened to the girls?" Andy said as he tried to catch his breath.

"I don't know, and I don't like it." John said shaking his head. 

"What's that?" Colin asked tilting his head.

"Sounds like music coming from the stables." John said.  The guys all walked towards the barn.  When they looked in all the girls were standing there grinning at them. 

"Come on ladies, don't you think you had enough fun for one night." John said shaking his head. 

"Nope!" All the girls said together.  The girls managed to change into tie dye dresses along with beads.

"Ready ladies? Let's do it!" Peaches said smiling.

"Shit." Maximus said shaking his head.

The girls then paraded in front of them, then made two lines.  With remote in hand Peaches turned her CD player on.  She winked at Cort.  Then the song, Good Lovin came on.  And the girls began singing.

The men soon joined the ladies. Tina excused herself from John and hurried back done to the skating rink and turned the AC back on.  She then hurried back, grabbing John and kissing him passionately.  John looked at her for a moment then shook his head, she wouldn't do anything else, John thought.   

The couples danced into the remainder of the night.  But the guys still plan on a pay back......................The End........or so the girls think.  ;)
