It will be held from 21.8.1999 to 4.9.1999 (new date !!!!!), start and end in Vienna - Austria. We will see:
Urmieh salt lake National Park (northwestern Iran, Azarbaijan; important bird area for breeding and migrating birds, special vegetation on islands)
Mordab-e-Anzali protected area (near Rasht and Caspian sea; big freshwater swamp and reed beds, important bird area, special vegetation)
Amirkelayeh protected area (northeast of Rasht close to Caspian sea; important bird area)
Miankaleh peninsula and Gorgan bay National Park (southeast edge of Caspian sea, important bird area)
Golestan National Park (180 km west of Bojnurd, close to Turkmenistan; 750 km2 virgin forest and 200 km2 virgin Turkmen-steppe, Large carnivores like lepard, bear, wolve etc., herbivors, birds, high ranking virgin forest)
The Price from Vienna to Vienna will be 30.000 ATS (about 2500 USD) - food, accomodiation ....all inclusive.
