Well, If your like me your all probably wondering what happened to Home Sims.com. Well I've found out that Home Sims isn't shutting down for good but are actually changing hosts and if all goes well they should be back up soon.

The Official Site has produced six screenshots of the hulu theme and also produced a new Livin' Large Chatterbox for this week's Simday.

Also The Sims.com has also released three new games to download for Sim Coaster

Another Simday download from the fine people at Maxis. This week they debuted a vase of roses for your romantically inclined sims, the winners of both the Kiss and Tell and Costume Party contests were also announced this week.

First off I'd like to wish everyone out their a very happy Valentine's Day.

7 Deadly Sims has added yet a new member, Elvaine, and in honor of her joining she created a really cool canopy bed for your sim and their sweetheart.

FGN has released information on the possiblity of The Sims coming to the Playstation 2 system. However Maxis denied these comments.

A really jampacked Sim Day this Thursday. Maxis added two downloads, the first of which is a copy of the chat transcript from last weeks House Party chat. The other download is a ukalalee lamp to light up your sims life. They also wrapped up the Valentine's Day and Costume contests.

The Sims Resource has post a screenshot of a birthday cake that will be available for download with a CD in the upcoming issue of the popular computer magazine Computer Gaming World. You can see the image here.

Bil Simser of Blueprint has released his first download with his new Blueprint utility. It's the skull of a dinosaur on a pedestal.

Home Sims has come out with a brand new look and new and improved forums, you really need to check it out.

Disturbed Sims is back and also has a new look with some old faces, in the way of creators S.M. Lust and Atomic, coming back to their site. I personally enjoy their downloads and am glad to see them back

7 Deadly Sims recently introduced a new staff member and then promptly finished a retro set for download.

It appears that box art from the upcoming Sims expansion pack, House Party, has been released to stores as Amazon.com has posted it on their website. Amazon is targeting the release date at about March 28, you should be able to preorder it shortly. The suggested retail price on the game is about $29.95.

The Sims Resource has started their very own top sim site list. Any Sims webmaster may join and the standings well be reset at the beginning of every week.

The Sims Resource has posted the chat transcript from Thursday's chat at the official site.

Gamecenter has posted an article on the upcoming online version of the sims. Here's a sample

"This will be an interactive experience, so we want people to enjoying people, and what they do. But we'll be tracking all interactions, and we'll know which players are the funniest, and which ones are assholes. That will be important if we have 'Who's the most popular' competitions," Wright told attendees. "Players will be able to live with roommates, and we're experimenting with a matchmaking option, as well."

Gamecenter also posted a preview of the House Party expansion pack.

Sim Community News is now under the ownership of Jim Dattilo, after Kinsey Martin ended her affiliation with the site. We are all sad to see Kinsey go, but look forward to new improvements to the site.

Project Sims will turn one tomorrow and they are already celebrating by updating their forums.

Maxis announced on Thursday the release of Simcoaster. The game allows the player to plan, build, and ride their very own rides. The game should be appearing on store shelves shortly for about $39.95

Well it's a new month already and it well be a month of big updates, lots of news, and probably me misspelling Febuary twenty some odd times. If your wondering were all the old news went fear not it can be located by clicking the news link on the the table to your left.

This Simday brings another House Party chat at 4 PST, yeah I know I jumped on Maxis last week for holding a chat at 4 o'clock but I didn't realize it was Pacific time. So sorry Maxis.

Two new SIF programs have been released. These allow you to add copyright info to your user created objects. Bil Simser of Blueprint released the first version, and Sim Heaven followed with a program of their own.

I just happened to be watching CNN this evening and they ran a commercial for a special they were doing on interactive video/computer games and based on the commercial The Sims should play a large roll.
