Also, there may be a sequel to this at some point, unlike Inspiration, which I really think of as complete. (Sorry, bebe) I have this scene in my head that won't leave me alone of Walter and General Landry meeting in a hallway and walking and talking about how Buffy's job interview with the SGC is going, specifically her fitness test.

That dialog goes a little something like this:

Landry: Walter!

Harriman: (crosses the hall to join the General) Yes, sir?

Landry: How long's it been now?

Harriman: Well sir, she's been at it for about 9 hours.

Landry: Same speed?

Harriman: Yes sir. Last time I requested an update, Dr. Lee said that she'd run 684 miles.

Landry: Unbelievable.

Harriman: Yes sir. Especially since she insisted on carry that Kull warrior over her shoulder like a rescue dummy a few hours ago.

Landry (stops walking): What?

Harriman (stopped almost as quickly as the General): Yes sir. She told Dr. Lee that without some kind of person-shaped thing to carry, the test was pointless, because why would anyone with a gun need to outrun a baddie, and...well...

Landry: What?

Harriman: Because she didn't think she'd reach her point of exhaustion anytime soon without the additional weight, sir.

Landry: She knows she's got the job, right?

Harriman: I can't confirm that, sir.
