Notes from an IM exchange: krees_tee_nah (11/17/2006 7:28:59 PM): Oh yeah! Re: Dawn's geeked-ness. I'm also really excited about the baddie. I've been looking into Jewish mythology and the dead sea scrolls and I've decided to use a fallen angel. melianightsilver (11/17/2006 7:29:30 PM): cool. But it was also on the history of angels krees_tee_nah (11/17/2006 7:32:36 PM): Ah. Well... according to what I read these fallen angels are above demons and cannot be killed except by God. But here's the really interesting part, (from the dead sea scrolls) the reason behind their fall is that they took human women as wives and (the angels) defiled themselves with these mortal women. melianightsilver (11/17/2006 7:32:59 PM): huh, interesting krees_tee_nah (11/17/2006 7:33:44 PM): And then they fathered monsters, giants, and creatures who would drink blood. Like the Mayor?), whose height was three thousand ells: Who consumed all the acquisitions of men. And when men could no longer sustain them, the giants turned against them and devoured mankind. krees_tee_nah (11/17/2006 7:34:50 PM): And they began to sin against birds, and beasts, and reptiles, and fish, and to devour one another's flesh, and drink the blood (or maybe vampires?). Then the earth laid accusation against the lawless ones. krees_tee_nah (11/17/2006 7:35:26 PM): So, I'm thinking, Slayers are stronger than the average chica. Hence, stronger children. melianightsilver (11/17/2006 7:35:42 PM): wow, how cool is that. That's definitely an interesting spin on it. I can't wait to read this fic! krees_tee_nah (11/17/2006 7:37:39 PM): Yeah, I'm really excited to write it. I'm thinking that the leader of the angels wants Buffy and is luring her to him, but instead of an ugly demonic looking guy, he's going to be unbelieveably beautiful. I'm thinking that during the "torture" of Buffy, i.e. the seduction of Buffy in front of Dean, the fallen angel changes his appearance, cycling through all of the men in her life, finally offering Dean's face and body. Even allowing her to call him by Dean's name, in exchange for her agreement. melianightsilver (11/17/2006 7:41:02 PM): ooh, good. Got me bouncing in excitement here krees_tee_nah (11/17/2006 7:41:42 PM): I'm thinking that like any temptation, the ground rules are that the fallen angel can't take her by force. She has to give her consent. melianightsilver (11/17/2006 7:42:59 PM): Sounds like a good ground rule and it prevents him from being all-powerful krees_tee_nah (11/17/2006 7:44:27 PM): It does, and hopefully it will be an interesting struggle for Buffy. Although, there will be fight scenes with vamps and stuff along the way. krees_tee_nah (11/17/2006 7:51:25 PM): Here's the little snippet of dialog that I've jotted down for the seduction scene. Oh, and the fallen angel's name is Samîazâz. Samîazâz: Buffy, Queen of the Slayers. Mother of the Slayer line unchained. Beloved of the Holiest of Holies. Chosen. I choose you. Choose me. Buffy: No. S: All I ask of you is pleasure. Not mine. Yours. Days and nights eternal, filled with glorious, golden pleasure beyond your imagination. B: No. S: Perhaps this visage does not appeal to you. I could use this one. Or this. Or this. You decide. It doesn’t matter to me. Buffy sways forward as Samîazâz settles on Dean’s face. S: Ah. Suddenly, she’s all out of denial. This is the one that you want, isn’t it? Buffy: Uhn… No. S: Yes, it is. I’ll give you this face, this body, and so much more. Call me by his name, if you like. What do I care? All that I ask in return, all that any male would ask in return, is that you bear my children. Form them in your womb. Give them your strength. Buffy: I really can't...
