I said a little prayer today
to thank the Lord above
for sending you from heaven-
a miracle of love.
I thanked Him for your little smiles,
for your precious baby sighs,
and for every trace of starlight
that twinkles in your eyes.
I asked the Lord to send His angels
to protect you all your days,
and as you grow to guide you
in His perfect, loving ways.
