In early August, the local softball team "Clarksburg Express" captured its first state championship in USSSA Men's Slow-Pitch softball. The team defeated Parkersburg hometown favorite Schobb's by a score of 16-13. Eric Post, head coach of the Blue Blazers, is in the bottom left.
