The ballot has been sent out to elect the next class of players to be inducted into the Blue Blazer Hall of Fame. The announcement of who has been elected will take place on April 30, 2004. The players will be inducted on May 1, 2004. There may possibly be a dinner to honor the Hall of Famers on May 7, 2004.
In order to be elected, you must have been away from the team for one season to be eligible. You must also have received 75% or more from the voters. The voters are the players already in the Hall of Fame, which are Mark Gorby and Travis Messenger, head coach Eric Post, and Blue Blazers chief of media Steve Kennedy.
It is a real honor to be in the Blue Blazers Hall of Fame and it takes a special type of player to be enshrined. He must show character, leadership, and great skill to enter. A Hall of Famer must perform at a high level over his career, which is something every player who puts on the blue and white of a Blue Blazer uniform must strive for.
