Blue Blazers starting forward Zach Hilliard was suspended for the rest of the season following Tuesday night's victory over the Jimmy Head Memorial Squad. With less than 10 seconds to go and the Blue Blazers up 19, Hilliard was distrot over an apparent foul, which would have been his sixth. He proceeded to shout vulgarities which caused two technicals and immediate ejection from the game. Afterwards he had an altercation in the parking lot with a Jimmy Head Memorial Squad team member. This pushing incident caused him to be suspended for the rest of the year from the league.
Following Thursday night's round one play off victory, head coach Eric Post appealed the suspension. The decision will come later today. In a best case scenario, Hilliard will be able to play tomarrow against the Krazy Squirrels.
