Jonah Simons heads to ABC Jonah Simons, former starting center for the Blue Blazers, is scheduled to walk-on and play at Appalachian Bible College. Jonah averaged 8.6 points a game for the Blue Blazers and was a dominate presence inside, blocking shots and rebounding in the dozens. Mark Gorby offered walk-on tryout at Salem International Mark Gorby, former starting shooting guard for the Blue Blazers, recieved a letter on invitation for a walk on tryout in July. Apparently Gorby was scouted while playing for the Blue Blazers, proving there is a chance to be seen in Parks and Rec. The Co-MVP averaged 13.1 a game this year, being only the second player ever to score over 100 points in a season. He is currently the General Manager for the Blue Blazers. Nathaniel Zinn to walk-on at West Virginia University Nathaniel ZInn, former starting power foward for the Blue Blazers, is slated to walk-on to the West Virginia football squad and kick for the Mountaineers. Nathaniel was an AAA First Team All-State kicker at Robert C. Byrd High School. Nathaniel averaged 8.6 a game during the regular season, but averaged 20.0 in a three game playoff against the Dooks. He was voted the Blue Blazers Co-MVP along with Mark Gorby.
