In a special press conference today, it was announced that Michael Yost will be dawning the blue and white of the Blue Blazers. The Senior from Robert C. Byrd High School was not in attendance at the brief press conference.
"Michael Yost is an all-star caliber player and we are very happy that he has chosen to play here," said head coach Eric Post. "He plays fantastic defense, rebounds well, handles the ball well, and has a great shot. He is definately a five-tool player."
Last year Yost starred for the The Jimmy Head Memorial Squad and once helped lead that team over the eventual champion Krazy Squirrels. In the two years prior to that, he played for Robert C. Byrd High school.
Michael is the brother of former player Billy Yost who was an all-star player for The Greatest Show on Earth in the 2001-2002 Season. Billy was also a teammate of Eric Post on Team Roch which played in 2000-2001 season.
Michael is projected to start at either Guard or Forward this season.
