The Steve Kennedy Award is a yearly award given to the 6th man off the bench for the Blue Blazers.
Steve Kennedy played his senior year in Blue Blazers uniform, dawning the number 31 for the blue and white. Over the 11 game season, Kennedy averaged 5.5 points per game off the bench. His defense and rebounding were a key factor in the 2002 season. Steve sat the bar for a 6th man, therefore this award will be given yearly to the player who is felt to be the most valuable off the bench.
