Mark Gorby Award

The Mark Gorby Award is given to the MVP of the regular season. Mark Gorby was one of the founders of the team and a regular starter for the 2001-2002 Blue Blazers. He was also an assistant coach to Eric Post in the 2002-2003 season. Gorby was the leader of the 2001-2002 squad. Behind his 3 point shooting, he led the Blazers to a 12 win season. His 13.1 PPG is the best in Blue Blazers career history. Gorby was a big time player who stepped it up when the game was on the line, thats why the MVP award is named after him.
