
Eric Post was a face in the Harrison County Parks and Recreation for 115 games for six seasons before abruptly retiring from coaching on February 8, 2007 following a disagreement with management only to return the following year. During his short retirement he was named the head coach of the Immaculate Conception Youth Basketball squad less than a month after leaving the Blue Blazers. He recorded his first I.C. win in a triple overtime thriller on March 4, 2007 and led them to a 4-2 record in the league's short lived season. He returned for a second stint with the Blue Blazers in December of 2007 to coach for a 7th season and began his third stint in January of 2015. Post is a 2002 graduate of Robert C. Byrd High School and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Fairmont State University in 2006. He is currently employed as a Social Studies teacher at Robert C. Byrd High School.
