Welcome! I've put together this site to honor my father's time in the service as a B-25 gunner in WWII. He participated in 70 combat missions from June 1943 to February 1944, from bases in N. Africa, Sicily, and Italy, receiving the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Air Medal/8 Oak Leaf Clusters.

Sadly, Wilbur passed away December 19, 2009 at the age of 88, and is greatly missed by his family and friends.

Included here are some of the very few photos he has from that time, along with scanned documents and some material from other sources. I'll be adding more text and some of my father's personal recollections when I can. Please e-mail me if you have any comments, corrections, or suggestions for this site.
