Current Activities

By the financial support of the Government of Japan, provided within the framework of the "Grant Assistance for Grassroots Projects", NGO Support Group is now carrying out a School Furnishing Project in the Shirak Region. According to Grant Agreement the Embassy of Japan in Russia provides a grant in the amount of 93,615 USD for this purpose.

Activities in 1999, 2000

In 1999 NGO "Support Group" has successfully implemented a Project for construction of internal system for drinking water distribution in Martuni City, which is situated in Gegharkounik Region. The Project was financed by the Government of Japan within the framework of the "Grant Assistance for Grassroots Projects". During Project implementation the NGO "Support Group" has received a full support by the Embassy of Japan in Russia. The total amount of the grant was 67,000 USD. In 2000 by the financial support of the Government of Japan, provided within the framework of the "Grant Assistance for Grassroots Projects", NGO Support Group has successfully implemented School Furnishing Project in the Gegharkounik Region. 131 schools received 1295 school desks and chairs and 312 blackboards.
