Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale,
A tale of a wonderful trip
That started from the ELO river port

Aboard four tiny ships.

The mate was a master navigator,
The skipper brave and sure.
Ten fellow travelers set sail that day
For a three day tour, a three day tour.

The weather started getting rough,
The tiny ships was tossed,
If not for the courage of the fearless band
The caravan would be lost,
the caravan would be lost.

The ships headed East on the charted Lincoln Road
With Eileen
and Beulah too,
The millionaire and his wife,
The empress and her squire,
The old man and Marianne,
The Frau and Scotty Y,
Headed to central P.A.- past Storyland

So this is the tale of road warriors,
They were gone for only a short time,
They made the best of things,
Had many uphill climbs.

The first mate and the Skipper too,
Did their very best,
To make the others comfortable,
In this rainy mess.

Only ten cell phones, city lights, four motor cars,
Hardly a single luxury,
except for the Gingerbread House,
and oh - those adult brews.
Our lodging
Like Robinson Crusoe,
As primitive as can be,
in the Quality Inn.

So join us for our next adventure my friends,
You're sure to get a smile,
From ten happy wanderers,
Goin' down the road again.

Bring your ship, a smile and join our little band.
