Need a passport??? note: "LAND AND SEA TRAVEL"
There has some been discussion about extending the 2007 ELHS '65 winery dinners to the Finger Lakes Region of New York in 2008. While researching the Finger Lakes Region and exploring the possibilities of visiting Canada, the U.S government has decided to wait until early 2009 to impose passport requirements for all citizens visiting Canada. Given this, the Summer of 2008 may be the last opportunity for us to visit Canada without the additional expense of a passport. For this reason I am suggesting the following trip. As of March 25, 2008, all lodging and routing have been finalized. If you would like to join any or all parts of the trip, each of the lodging links include information to either stay at the same places we are or in the case of the B & B's somewhere close-by. If you are considering joining us in Niagara-on-the-Lake, please contact Rose at the Wild Rose B & B. She has contacts with neighboring B & B's. Dates July  23 - 28

Leave Island View 9:00-ish, sightsee (1000 Island & Loyalist Parkways), stop at a few wineries along the way. 1000 Islands Parkway Map Once loaded, zoom in on the map. The Parkway is on the Northern edge of the St. Lawrence Seaway. Follow the Parkway West to Kingston. We drive through Kingston, then get on the Loyalist Parkway for a few miles.
