Attached is a photo taken last Friday of two ELHS '65 classmates, Bud Hanselman & me. We're standing in front of the airplane I've been working on at the National Air & Space Museum for the past two years, the Heinkel HE-219 "Uhu" (owl) night fighter of WW 2. This is the only known example of this plane in the world. It will be placed in the new museum annex at Dulles International Airport near Washington, DC. The annex is scheduled to open December 15th in time for the 100th anniversary of the Wright Brothers first flight. Eventually, there will be over 200 planes on display at this huge new facility. Since it's part of the Smithsonian, admission will be free! Bud & his wife Nancy (Lessel ELHS '66) were in town for a visit and we all went to see the annual Cherry Blossom Parade & Festival. A good time was had by all. Thanks for the great work you do on the ELHS '65 web site, John. It's one of the best sites going. Greetings to all, Jim Purton, ELHS '65
